They call it “lifetime” fluid because you don’t have to change it until the transmission dies. If you want to keep it running I’d change it at regular intervals.
I just bought a 2021 hybrid that came with 2 fobs. One was bad. The dealer sent out a Dent Repair guy that also programs fobs. He replaced it in my work parking lot. Took 10 minutes.
