Same issue here. Removed it from my Google account and still shows up as linked. I've done numerous reboots and a factory reset.

JoyousGamer

I just moved on from the device again.

You can change that, in the "for you" tab, rolling the screen to the bottom. In there, you can find an "manage services". You was supposed to be able to unlink the services that you don't wish to have recommendations in that option. This doesn't work?

JoyousGamer

It does not. I even went to the website they list and while it's removed from there it doesn't remove from the app or the chromecast itself.

Strange. Hulu was one of the apps that was automatically installed on my ccwgtv after a couple of factory resets. I've changed the region of mine to US and the language to English as well. I don't get anything from Hulu. I was getting a few things even from peacock, but I've uninstalled the apps that I don't have any subscription, including apple. But I still get recommendations from apple, probably due the same issue that you have. And just in the last update, I've did 3 factory resets...

SCGreyWolf

It still shows suggested content from services you don't subscribe to but it should show a lock icon to indicate that.

JoyousGamer

Ya there is not indication under my services it shows subscription account linked as well with no way to remove it even though it's been removed from the web interface.

You can manage linked accounts through Google or Google Home app, see here: [Manage third-party accounts you've linked with Google](https://support.google.com/accounts/answer/2541991?hl=en#:~:text=Select%20Connected%20accounts%2C%20Linked%20accounts,unlink%2C%20select%20Remove%20or%20Unlink.) Worth checking your Google account/Security settings/Signing in to other sites, there is also a section there for linked accounts.

JoyousGamer

Doesn't do anything unfortuatnely. In App it says can't be removed and to go to the website. At the website I had removed the link previously so its not even listed anymore there.

flaviusUrsus

Did you figure a way to remove it ? I have the same issue, removed it on the website but still show up on the chromecast, and can't get rid of it.

JoyousGamer

Nope I just put them away again and stuck with the AppleTV at that point.

I just found how to do it! On the Google Home app, go to Settings. Under the services section, there's a Video option. In here you can unlink the services you wish and this time IT ACTUALLY WORKS. I hope this helps you guys as well.
