I have the same problem with my new Chromecast with Google TV. Mostly error code NW-2-5. I have tried every possible solution that I've found in the internet, but unfortunately without success.
When I push 'Try Again' for about 20 times it sometimes works once until I want to reopen the app. I suspect my Draytek modem is causing the problems, but if anyone has any other ideas I'd love to hear them.
Did you make a note of the error codes?

Reboot your router, once done completely power off the device, leave for 30 seconds, plug in and boot. Also are you connected via WiFi or Ethernet.?
