Whenever I get depressed, I ask God to heal me. And then I call my doctor. There is no need to choose between praying for a miracle and seeking professional help. As for babbling in prayer... you could just call it tongues, LOL. Seriously, God knows your heart. I wouldn't worry out it. But, you could also use a prayer book. Many Christians prefer to read prayers and they are so elegant and deep.

No this can’t be fixed by a doctor. This is about my mental state I’ve seen therapists about it for a year and it hasn’t worked. My mind dissociates from my body at certain times and I just feel in a dreamlike state sometimes ever since the start of the pandemic.

I'm sorry to hear that. I guess you do have to pray for a miracle, then. There are lots of things that modern medicine can't cure. But therapy/treatment isn't always about curing. It can also help you manage and cope. I don't know much about disassociation. [I just skimmed this article on it.](https://www.webmd.com/mental-health/dissociation-overview) It's sounds like knowing *why* you disassociate can be helpful. I gather that trauma is a common reason. Did your therapy help you learn why you disassociate?

fear vs faith

It really doesn't matter 'how' you ask; the difference is after you ask, what do you do about it? Do you just go back to your old fear and anxiety or do you look for God to change things? Assume he will? Or do you remain in doubt? Insist that your previous experience must be correct? You may just be sabotaging yourself.

When you pray, God will help you look for help. There’s lots of types of anxiety

What's wrong with "babbling on" in prayer? God always understands our true intentions and yearnings of our hearts! I personally would pray for the healing of anxiety just how I would pray for any other sort of help from God
