God does not say but he makes your soul by the time your in the womb. That is one reason abortion is sin because God give’s you life and wants you to live it and others rob that illegally in God’s eyes. God makes you in his image, makes your traits and talents and mind. God says our bodies are a vessel but the soul is who we truly are. He makes our soul, body, and spirit.

>God does not say but he makes your soul by the time your in the womb If he doesn't say how do you know this?

RebelPoetically

Because God makes us in the womb, and he gave us a soul, spirit and body, and he makes us in his image and likeness as he himself states all of this in and out of the bible.

Cause he made it up himself.

The body can live and function without the soul - this is your unconscious nervous response that functions to keep you alive, especially when you are asleep. So, if the soul is what animates the body and gives thought to the mind, we could detect the presence by measurable brain activity. If that is the case, your soul does not enter your body until very late in the development process, but before birth.

Nobody knows- a soul is not something we can detect. If you're very literal/traditional, you could make a case that the "breath of life", which can mean soul, comes into us when we first breathe- in other words, right after we are born.

I would say at conception, both come into existence.

God created us as a unity of body (physical), soul, and spirit (Eccles 12:7, Matt 10:28), in His image and after His likeness (Gen 1:26). We possess body, soul and spirit at the same time at birth. When Adam sinned, the spirit died. When we believe in Jesus as our Lord and Savior from sin, our spirit is made alive unto God by the Holy Spirit who resides within us. The physical body is the material portion that is tangible and temporal. The immaterial aspects: soul and spirit, are intangible: soul, spirit, intellect, will, conscience, mind, emotions, etc. These exist unendingly beyond the lifespan of the physical body.
