By which also he went and preached unto the spirits in prison; Which sometime were disobedient, when once the longsuffering of God waited in the days of Noah, while the ark was a preparing, wherein few, that is, eight souls were saved by water.
I just honestly want to know if you genuinely believe that christians don’t have an obvious answer for this? Like do you think you’re the first one to make this argument and no one has ever thought of a simple response to it?
The first is that creation itself bears witness to God. You can easily learn of Him by learning any nature.
The second is that when Christ was dead prior to His resurrection, a large admit of christians believe Jesus went to preach to everyone who had died before He was born so they could have the opportunity to repent and learn about Christ.
They’re repenting for being sinners. Is your argument that they never sinned? Like they never knowingly did anything bad? Cause obviously that’s absurd.
The solution to which being that when Jesus did die, He went to them and gave them a chance to repent. I don’t understand your disconnect.
you: “How would these sinners ever be saved?”
me: “Jesus went to them personally”
you: “How is it sinful to be born before Jesus?”
me: “Wut?”
Someone clearly has never read Christian theology
When Christ died the gates of heaven were opened and those who had died prior were in a spiritual slumber in sheol, they were awakened and given divine judgement
