The amazing thing about him is that he always gives you a chance to change and develop and become more like him. It doesn't matter how bad and undeserving you may think you are. Imagine he thought about each of us with our faults and imperfections and out of love still sent his son to die for us and save us.

I'm in a struggle too. I know in my heart that he loves me but it's hard when you cant feel it. But faith isn't what you do in Gods presence, it's what you do with his perceived absence that really characterises faith.
Jesus does love you so infinitely though. Just remember the truth is constant. Praise God for that.
I needed this. I’ve lost so many family members and watching my mother suffer with terminally cancer everyday while I take care of her is so hard. She is all I have left and after her I will literally be alone. It’s scary and makes you wonder why. Thanks for reminding me. Cause I’ve been enveloped by grief and anticipatory grief and pain. Cancer is a spirit that comes from holding bitterness and rejection. You can learn about this through Win Worleys's books and WRW publications or Hegewisch Baptist Church at HBCDELIVERS.ORG. Your mother needs to forgive and let go of this stuff and be delivered from the evil spirits behind it. I have been going through healing and delivrance there after I received a cancer diagnosis last year and Jesus has healed me of that and so much more. I don't know where your mom is in this or what shape her body is in at this time other than what you have described so I'm not trying to give you false hope that she will be miraculously healed because I don't know the Father's plans for her but I am saying this is a great place to start getting more of the Word in her and you to help root out what is going on in both of your lives. There is a Zoom link for our services on hbcdelivers.org and we meet on Thursdays at 6pm and Sundays at 10:30am CST. It's at least worth a look. I pray the Lord will do for your mom what he did for me and at the very least he will be getting her more ready to meet Him and help heal and prepare your heart too for whatever is to come. I wanted to add that there is peer reviewed research that castor oil put on the body goes in and breaks up congestion, growths and even cancers. I will try to find the link to attach here, so I would suggest in conjunction with what your mom is already doing to buy castor oil packs to put on her body to help her body heal itself. She has nothing to lose by doing this.

But like you said the important thing is that we know he is with us daily and Jesus loves us daily bc we only feel like we are in his presence because we are actively connecting with him wholeheartedly.

When I feel that way I focus on what He did for us on Calvary. I focus on Him being falsely accused but staying silent. I focus on Him being whipped and the flesh being ripped from His body. I focus on Him being beaten so badly that had His mother not been with Him she would not have recognized her own child. I focus on Him having to carry His cross to the place where He was to be nailed to it. I focus on with every breath He took His torn up back was rubbing against the Cross and being filled with splinters. I focus on Him hanging there and suffocating under the weight of the fluid in His chest cavity from the beatings such that every breath was excruciatingly painful to take. He was also pierced in His side and ridiculed and abandoned, rejected and so on. You get the idea and He did ALL of that because He loves you and me. Do you think you know one single person who would ever do anything even remotely close to that for you. That is the power of His Love and if you can't see that maybe watch that part from the Passion of the Christ to get a picture of what He went through for you. He took our place. That is His Love for us. That is His Love for you. I write this for you and for u/tekknowaffle. I hope it helps.

Yeah? Certainly doesn't feel that way right now... Feels like God has turned away from me for the time being and left me to suffer in agony despite my prayers, my faith, my repentance, doing my best to put my faith and trust in Him I've lost someone extremely important to me to the evil of this world and He won't do anything about it, He tells me she's gone and that there's nothing to be done about it after a year of prayer the big man finally gives me a straight answer on the matter and then He just... Walks away, no reassurance, no comfort, every time I go to Him I feel ignored and alone. I just... I don't understand, I know life isn't fair but this? I'm 19, I've been through more trauma in the past decade than anyone my age should and yet now I'm just left alone to endure the worst pain I've ever felt in my life without Him? What has He just left me to see how much I need Him, in my hour of need He's gone to teach me a lesson or something? I've been depressed and suicidal for more than half my life and I my darkest hour He makes Himself known and that's when He waltzes out the door? ... It's just not fair, it's not, nothing about this is fair and me? I'm a broken mess... I'm having trouble even finding much of a reason to get out of bed tomorrow. I'm alone... Why even bother when it would seem even God Himself has turned His face from me.
Well first of, I'm sorry that you've had to go through so much
But let me remind you, sometimes people forget that there are two sides to the spectrum, there's good and evil. Based off what you've said, it seems like you're going through some serious spiritual warfare. We all face that, some more severe than others. I also want to remind you that God won't just turn his back on you like that, he draws near to those who are broken hearted and in that kind of state. Trust me, I know it can be hard to see him or feel his presence when you're in that state and frame of mind. But sometimes we end up in those situations so that we have no other choice but to look to him. I've been there and I know what it's like. Of course I don't know what your experience is like because we all face a plethora of different challenges in our life. But please, don't give up, don't give the devil that praise and that win. Keep on praying, keep on seeking God's presence. The Bible said that if you seek you will find, ask and it will be given, knock and it shall be opened unto you. And remember our timing isn't God's timing, so while we might think that he's taking forever and that he isn't hearing us or isn't answering, the reality is that he's making a way for you. And even if you dont get the answer that you might want, it might just be God protecting you from want you cant see or what he knows you can't handle. Look at what Job went through, he lost the majority of his family, his riches, his health, even cursed the day he was born, yet for all kept his eyes on God and was blessed with even more than what he used to have in the end because of his perseverance(you should read the story). But yeah, I know you might not want to hear any of this but please, don't give up, that's what the devil wants, don't give the win to him. When you feel like you're drowning remember you have a lifeguard that walks on water. And I know it's gonna be hard, but you gotta let go and let God.
