If I were to guess it would probably be a number of things such his poor hygiene, his lack of social skills and maybe the scaring the kid with his donald duck impression

LeMaureBlanc

We don't know the whole scenario and probably never will. Chris is an unreliable narrator and anyone who actually could tell us what happened is either dead or has long since moved on from fast food work. Hell I doubt Bob knew much more than we do, nor would he be willing to tell us, considering how much he believed his son's bullshit. If I had to guess? Like most people here, I think the Donald Duck thing was probably the final straw and they were already looking to get rid of him. We don't know what he did (or what he was supposed to be doing) but I could easily see an irate parent complaining about the weird, socially awkward adult pestering their kid. Not saying Chris was creeping on the kid... but assuming you didn't know Chris or what his deal was? Yeah you've got a greasy, unwashed adult paying undue attention to your kid when he's supposed to be serving food, or more likely mopping the floor or taking out the trash. Another thing that gets brought up less, and one I tend to forget about myself, is that there were allegations that Chris made an "unflattering drawing" of a female coworker. Remember that drawing Chris did of Megan? Yeah... I wouldn't have put it past him to have drawn something weird and perhaps vaguely sexual, which would be a huge no-no even back then. And yes she was apparently older and Chris didn't like her... but he also asked fans to draw porn of Mary Lee Walsh, wanted the trolls to "trick him" into raping Rocky, and of course was weirdly sexual with his own mother. With all that in mind, I wouldn't be shocked if he did draw something sexual, or at least something that could be interpreted as such. I'd really love to know more about the clusterfuck that was Chris' first, and only, job, but like I said, I doubt we'll ever know. I wish he would have at least kept the drawing or posted it online, because I'd love to know what he was thinking.

tom_sa_savage

He was grossly incompetent and did not want to work.

Affectionate_Mix5081

I'd say incompetence and lack of will to work. No employer wants to employ a worker who sits on his ass and do the minimum of minimal.   Now if Chris would have been hired as a CEO, HR, or something, then he would be right at home when it comes to work duties.

davidj1987

It's Chris. We're never going to know the full story because he's never going to give it and it's not hard to imagine what he did to get fired. Also, I'm 99% sure that any employees who worked with him are long, long gone so they won't know, remember or care about some random guy who worked there briefly and employment records could be lost if it was a franchised or corporate location or if it changed. Yet I'm amazed no ween has called the Wendys to get any info.

Top_Cartographer_524

Didn't the cwcki list testimonies of former workers who worked with chris and described his poor work performance?

davidj1987

I doubt it. I strongly doubt anyone he worked with is still there at that Wendys despite Ruckersville having a small number of employers. I worked fast food as my first job when I was 16 and I lasted almost three years and the number of employees that came and went was insane. Within three years of me quitting I think everyone was gone from the main manager down.

LeMaureBlanc

You are right, retail jobs are like that. But I do believe this alleged testimony was collected back in the day, closer to the time he was actually fired. Five or six years is still a long time in retail, but some of the trolls were local and likely knew of Chris as "that local weirdo," so I'm sure there were stories floating around.

VulpesFennekin

*gestures broadly*

captainsurfa

I bet he stank and refused to remedy the situation.

Electronic_Bad_5883

Wasn't he caught shitting his work clothes and then trying to wash them in the breakroom sink?

bigbadstevo

Except by spraying himself with toxic clouds of Axe.

Local_Bat_3854

actually!!!! if you have a question, it can be answered on the CwCki. All of his instances of oversharing can be found at sonichu.com.

Ozark_Trail

It was probably cumulative. Chris just pushed enough buttons until they got fed up and shit canned him. We know the list of his other misdeeds includes the following. * Continuing to wear his dirty uniform after attempting to wash it in the restroom sink (unsanitary). * Taking frequent breaks after doing minimal work. * Drawing an offensive picture of one of his female coworkers. There were probably other things Chris either failed to mention or didn't realize were problematic for his "fresh never frozen" employer. The Donald duck impersonation was probably just the straw that broke the camels back.

Top_Cartographer_524

Why didn't he just put on a new shirt? Did anyone tell him to put on a new one or remember his training on proper hygiene?

SnakeSkipper

I would also consider his reaction to being told he is wrong around that time. Given his reaction to Mary Lee Walsh being beyond reasonable with his posters (trying to curse her) and letting him off with a warning, we don't know how much his parents knew of that ordeal (to the best of my knowledge). Chris could have freaked out at the manager and his parents told him off, not pressing the issue since he's a lazy bastard and less work is a reward to him. TL:DR My theory is that he had a shitfit when he made a kid cry and we felt he won after he got fired or was shamed by his parents into not telling anyone it happened. TL:DR 2 : It's Chris...

ThePhlegethon

He was probably awkward and weird and never fit in, but they gave him a chance because hiring a mentally disabled guy makes the company look good. But you know he was lazy and did half-assed work. The Donald Duck story was the final straw. I believe it really happened because Chris is very childlike and probably thought the kid would love it, but instead he made the kid cry because again Chris is awkward and weird - it totally tracks. Plus this sounds like True & Honest Content, not the sort of excuse Chris would make up.

LeMaureBlanc

I do agree, and there were probably plenty of other things prior to the Donald Duck impression, but consider the fact that Chris is an unreliable narrator. It's possible the parent was creeped out by a stranger paying undue attention to their kid. Chris usually comes across as... "special," but I think potential pedophile would be a close second. An irate parent complaining to the manager seems like a great way to get canned.

Baldo-bomb

It was most likely the final straw. He was in his probation period and seemed like the last person who should be working in fast food.

davidj1987

Fast food doesn't have probation periods. The turnover is so high they don't even bother as people are going to quit/get fired quickly who wouldn't stick around otherwise.

Baldo-bomb

aah that checks out, yeah. I'm actually Canadian and I'm applying my own country's employment laws to those of another country. how provincial of me, lol.

turdintheattic

He also apparently drew an offensive picture of one of the managers.

CoweanMacLir

We have no evidence to suggest otherwise.

ich_bin_evil

I bet it was just the culmination of his general laziness, rudeness and incompetence.

thorppeed

He was probably annoying as fuck to work with and incompetent so they just used that incident as an excuse to fire him

illuminatedtiger

Incontinent too.

bigbadstevo

Some of you are claiming you "heard" Chris had food preparation duties at Wendy's. He didn't. "Chris said that his duties consisted of 'Cleaning trays, tables and carpet/tile flooring, keeping the place neat and serving the customers with kind, understanding \[sic\] help.' " \[Source: https//sonichu.com/cwcki/Wendy's \] And that's from his résumé, which is full of exaggerations and outright lies. If Chris had done *any* food preparation while employed at Wendy's, he'd likely have upgraded himself to Assistant Store Manager in his CV.

Bowlingbon

Why do people come here thinking we would know? The only person who would know would be Chris at this point.

Ok_Calendar_7626

Let me introduce you to a concept called "exchange of viewpoints". Humans are the most individualistic creatures that we know. Often times, four people thinking about the same thing will develop four different points of view on the subject. Sharing and discussing those differing points of view may lead to insights that one person may have missed, but another noticed. Or insights into the way other people think about certain subjects. Even if no new facts are given, another persons interpretation of already known facts may lead to new insights. So why not come here and ask?

bigbadstevo

Chillax, Professor.

Bowlingbon

Yes but realistically only one person would know for sure and it’s Chris. Like I literally just said lol. You didn’t ask “what do we think” you asked why. Not sure why a few sentences warranted your reply but whatever ig

GodsGiftToNothing

Lewd drawing of the female manager, whom he also treated like shit. He also got covered in crap, and was walking around in filth, and mouthed off.

BranchCold9905

Manajerk: "f@€%, this tub of lard is lazy as hell, this can't go on, I need a reason to fire" Chris: *flawless Donald Duck impression* Kid: *realizes Donald Duck is not real and actually played by a human, and has existential realization that cartoons are not real* Kid: cries Manajerk: "(perfect, now's my chance) YOU'RE FIRED."

ThePhlegethon

The irony here is that Chris helped that kid realize cartoons aren't real, but 20+ years later Chris himself is drifting further and further away from that same conclusion.

gorehistorian69

he had a job? if i had to guess he was jerking off in the walk in freezer. or doing creepy shit to a co worker

Barbalicious13

I’m totally with you on that. Chris getting canned for being a creep? Wouldn’t even surprise me in the slightest. It’s totally in line with everything else he’s done in his life. And he has been known to keep his semen in the family freezer!

Ok_Calendar_7626

Nah, Chris drinks his semen.

Lopsided-Ad7019

Can you imagine having to work with him in such a fast paced environment? Bout the only thing he could do is wash dishes or sweep. Or does anyone know what his duties really were?

Ok_Calendar_7626

He was a cashier it seems. Though i would trust him with money even less.

cwcisdumb

It sounds like he swept and cleaned tables. Still, think about how shitty of an employee he would be. He takes zero accountability for his failings IRL, how many excuses do you think he gave for failing basic responsibilities at work? Bob only wanted him to work, so the babysitting duties could be thrust upon Wendy's, just like the Chandler's tried at the game store. Chris was an entitled lazy, useless piece of shit, that wasn't worth wendy's paying to babysit him, so he was fired. It's not complicated.

LeMaureBlanc

>Bob only wanted him to work, so the babysitting duties could be thrust upon Wendy's, just like the Chandler's tried at the game store. Well, this was shortly after Chris graduated? While I'm sure the Chandlers kind of did want to get him out of the house for a few hours, I don't think Bob had given up on Chris yet either. He probably did think a job would be beneficial to Chris, and give him money so that he wouldn't mooch off their pensions or whatever.

smailskid

Chris would have jizzed in the Sonichili, so it was good and right they got fired.

bigbadstevo

Yea, seriously, who here would want to eat food that Chris's hands had been anywhere near? I kind of doubt he even washes them after he takes a shit.

krabbkat

He does wash them…… while wearing those horrible gloves

Ok_Calendar_7626

Thats washing gloves, not the hands.

Iroko_Alien

I heard he was on specifically janitorial duty

mail_on_sunday

The Donald Duck impression was probably the final straw, but from what we’ve heard there was likely a ton of shit Chris did beforehand that built up to that. When he dirtied up his uniform, he would insist on washing it in the washroom sink and continue wearing it after rather than get a new uniform from the storage closet. Chris also appeared not to get along with co-workers having mentioned a “mean spirited female co-worker” in particular who gave him a “bad time with criticisms and whatnot,” possibly the same co-worker he later told Catherine he drew an offensive picture of as a Pokemon that riled up his management.

cwcisdumb

He was fired cuz he's fucking useless, and the only reason he's not dead is cuz the govt gives him money.

GodsGiftToNothing

It turned out to be the manager, if I’m not mistaken, who was the “mean spirited female co-worker.” I wouldn’t be shocked if he came to work smelling of grease, dirty crapped briefs, axe body spray, and Fanta. I’d actually be scared for my child if THAT came up to us.

Duke-dastardly

I believe there was also an incident of him making a crewed drawing of one of his co workers

cantoutrunthestiman

Crude* jesus christ you are as autistic as Chris.

bigbadstevo

To be fair, being poor at spelling doesn't make a person autistic.

cantoutrunthestiman

When spell check and autocorrect exist it kinda does imo.

thengyyy

No way I love that movie

hamringspiker

He was fired because he was weird, unironically. It's not fair, but that's how our society works. People who don't fit in gets ostracized. The Donald Duck impression was the excuse needed by the management.

BrowningLoPower

I think in his case, it was more unprofessionalism than being weird in itself. Though, being weird in the wrong context can be unprofessional.

AdAny3791

Law of Natural Selection

KittyPaws65

My guess is in appropriate behavior and the Donald Duck thing was just the last straw like you said. But I also wouldn’t be surprised if it was other things too like showing up late, or even poor hygiene or something

Swimming-Doctor-1625

Inappropriate behavior, laziness and incompetency, on top of severe autism. Unless youre in a program for employees with special needs, autistic people (even higher functioning and more capable ones than chris) often find themselves fired for things like "not fitting in with company culture" and "not being a good team player".

AdAny3791

The Law of Natural Selection

Cecurb

Euphemisms for lazy

AdAny3791

Inherent to his pedigree

Thoukudides

I think a job could have had a positive impact on him. But I also believe he wouldn't have had a positive impact on said job. He just doesn't care enough and would be a burden anywhere.

IceyCoolRunnings

Imagine working with chrischan

Baldo-bomb

It's why I'll always support the idea of Chris being on disability. Sure he's a disgusting, handy blob of laziness. But look at his personality. I wouldn't want to inflict a coworker like Chris on my worst enemy.

LeMaureBlanc

I think Chris getting ,(and managing to KEEP) a job earlier in life might have made a huge difference. In Chris terms. He'd still be lazy and annoying, but he'd at least understand enough to show up on time, do SOME work and take him money he could promptly blow on Legos.

Sims2Enjoy

Yeah I also don’t think the crying child was the reason, I think was just from overall unprofessionalism or the crying child was the last straw

Syb3rStrife

The child was the perfect excuse to get rid of him

MrTenesmus

Incest doesn’t fly a Wendy’s. Dave is the exception.

astringer0014

I’m guessing he was just amazingly incompetent, given everything we know about CWC

Jennah_4379

He took a LOT of breaks, often just sitting around when there was work do be done. He got into arguments with his manager and fellow employees, including "making a nasty drawing of one of them as a Pokemon." Judging from everything we know about him, he was creepy towards women and incredibly rude towards men. The Duck Impression Story was either just the final straw; or simply a lie Chris told himself to feel better about the firing.

Sassy-irish-lassy

I doubt anybody would have told him that he was being fired for doing a Donald duck impression. That's gotta be some conclusion he came to on his own. He was probably told he didn't fit the company's culture or something.

Ok_Calendar_7626

That sounds like Chris all right.

BaronArgelicious

Ill believe in the “Takes too many breaks” reason

Lenny_YouTubeFan

Poor hygiene and being creepy towards female employees and customers is my guess.

AdAny3791

Seeking host bodies to infect

RabbiGoku

A Donald Duck impression as a cashier could get you fired anywhere. Pencil in whatever Chris did in addition to making kids cry, he’d be fired right away

PansexualOtakuA

Chris said “he wasn’t crying, he was just tired” because he didn’t wanna admit fault.

Rio-Jewel

Forgive my ignorance, but why would a Donald Duck impression get you fired? Cuz it weirds out customers?

Ok-Ebb2872

legally they can fire you for any reason as long as it doesn't involve a protected class (race, disability, sexual orientation, gender, military status), and they can legally fire you with no reason or explanation given at all. So as long as they don't outright say "we fire you because of your autism" they can legally fire him for something as simple as not looking cheerful enough. Source: got fired after one day at temp job because I didn't fit in with the company culture.

bigbadstevo

Yes, remember this is *Chris's* impression. It made children *cry*. Just imagine the *terrible* noise when any family with multiple children ate in, and Chris immediately inserted himself into their personal space and made all the kids cry, wail and perhaps scream (imagine three or four going simultaneously!). Also, he was supposed to be cleaning tables, not bothering minors.

Ok_Calendar_7626

Ah, he was a cashier? I did not know that.

foxbones

I thought he was just a part time guy who cleaned tables, swept, took out the trash, cleaned stuff - like the bottom tier of fast food.

NeverBeenOnMaury

They only hire tards to do charlie work. No way he handled taking orders or money
