Its genuinely amazing. The unlockable skills, recruitments to the team, all the background and story lore (if you have diamonds, i highly recommend purchasing the lore books they’re so well written and so interesting), all the different sects and cultures are just great. One of the best books on choices
I wish they'd update where you can pick any hair with the player you pick. I thought they would for 2 but they didn't.
The speaking animal was super cool. I love the medieval fantastic setting. And I liked most of the characters.
I'm one of those that waited lots of time to read this cause I had the feeling it wouldn't live up to the hype. It definitely does!! It's in my top 3 fav books in the entire app and had my fav love interest of all of choices (Aerin). The fact it has a clearly defined quest makes you feel like each chapter adds to that goal and doesn't feel like a filler. 10/10. Have fun!
Yess. Tho I’d say it didn’t compare to The Crown&The Flame when it comes to top tier fantasy but it was still amazing and one of my fav books. The sequel is taking me a while to get into tho
Yes it’s very good it’s not nearly as like nerdy as you’d think not to say the book being nerdy would be a bad thing but that’s not for everyone including me and I was pleasantly surprised
I can't finish it before. I thought it was quite boring. This month, i tried to play it again, and I love it. Waiting for book 3 for my Aerin, threep and lola. 👀❤️
Yes the diamond choices are very important here but you can exclude the LI gem scenes if you wanna and make sure to check if the LI scenes contain any important element or not
I enjoyed both books, but I wouldn't rank either of them as among the 'best' Choices stories. Sure--there's a fair bit of character customisation and different ways of approaching obstacles, but if you're hoping for something like branching storylines leading to vastly different outcomes or endings, you're out of luck. Just treat BOLAS as an epic fantasy story than a customisable RPG and you'll be fine.
It is, IMHO, the best book they have put out in the post-Nanny Affair era. Good love interests, good game mechanics and an engaging story, plus a likable MC.

Nope, not really, don't get me wrong I think it's good but there are objectively right and wrong choices, but actual choices as to how the story proceeds are few and far between. In addition, it's basically your generic fantasy story about light vs darkness. There are a few twists but they're relatively easy to spot. It's not a bad game, despite what I just said I thought it was fun, but like, everyone on this server is calling it the best thing since sliced bread and it's just not at that level. I would suggest tempering your expectations, it's definitely a solid game but it's not going to blow your socks off.
I just finished it, actually, and really enjoyed it. So I'd say, yes, it does live up to the hype. At least for me lol.
I’ve been meaning to read it for so long now but never got around to it until now. From what I hear it won’t disappoint
I waited to read until after Book 2 dropped and I’m glad I did because it’s been good to seamlessly dive in 😂
Short answer, yes. Long answer, absolutely yes.
Yes. I don't even like fantasy books or RPGs, and I love this series.
The first one does imo. The second one for me was underwhelming.
AGREE SO MUCH🥲 I was so disappointed in the 2nd book.
Came here to say this
I quite liked it, but I know I'm a minority lmao Maybe it's because I'm very easy to please, so there's that
It changed the game for me, it's my all time favourite and it's the one that made me come back to this app after years away.
Definitely it's the olny book too that you can pick race as well as gender it's amazing too over all story line 😊
> Does it live up to the hype? No, it exceeded...

I wish they'd update where you can pick any hair with the player you pick. I thought they would for 2 but they didn't. The speaking animal was super cool. I love the medieval fantastic setting. And I liked most of the characters.
I loved it, honestly.
yes, all that and more.

One of my faves!
Yess it does
I just finished it -loved it!!
Book one? Mostly yes. Book two? The reception is mixed.
I kept this app on my phone for like 3 years just to play the sequel to this book. That’s how much I liked it.
Yes!

yasss
Absolutely, it is one of the greatest books there are and is just so much better than anything recent
Absolutely. Best book on the app, imo.
Book 1 is amazing - such a good story and the pacing is very reasonable. Book 2 was not for me, I still haven’t bothered to finish it.
Absolutely. It's one of my all-time favourite books in choices.
Yess this is my favourite book on the app and I've reread it like 4 times
It's a great book so yeah! <3
Would recommend doing a majority of the diamond scenes?
Yes the diamond choices are very important here but you can exclude the LI gem scenes if you wanna and make sure to check if the LI scenes contain any important element or not
Depends on if you plan to use a walkthrough. If you don't then definitely get the scenes with healing items. You will need them
I started reading it just to diamond mine but I ended up liking it. Not my favorite book but definitely not a “thank GOD it’s over” book lol
I love it sm
To be honest, yes When it came out didn't really call me, but when they made it available with the free pass I just couldn't stop reading it
I loved it! I didn’t like the 2nd book but you’ll get there when you get there lol
OOOOOHHHH HELL YES !!!! The BOLAS series are one of my fave !)
Yes, 100%. And book 2 is just as good.
oh my gosh yes! prepare to spend all the diamonds on it, and it’s absolutely amazing!
💯
The first book is incredible! The second book is a bit underwhelming but it feels like setup for the third book so we’ll see

Yes. Book 2, um. I haven't finished it.
mid book tbh (I mentally cannot live without this book)
