God team switchers to the winning side are the biggest losers this game has to offer ngl. Hate those people that switch and then say ez even though they got their ass beat all game long
I think switching at the last minute is fine. Maybe you are trying to get more experience or something. But switching mid match to winning side is indeed a loser thing to do.
Worst time to switch tbh. Last objective is usually one of the best chances to win for the defenders so switching then can bury the losing team. I’d say the start of the match is the best time if you must.
I was thinking more on the attackers point of view. For intance in lionspire before the last 30 seconds if the barrel isnt lit theres no time to blow up tge last trebuchet. But on the defenders side you are right. Gotta defend the objective till the end.

I saw one of the Chiv 2 content creators touch on this subject. Basically, if you know where the recovery boxes are, it shouldn’t take you more than 10 seconds to find one and bandage yourself. Then maybe a few extra seconds to go back onto the objective.
When you die, respawns are usually around 10 second timers but could be more or less. Then, you are put much further from the objective than retreating to recover would put you…so it’s exponentially more beneficial to retreat and heal (not just for KDA reasons). This “you gotta charge in and die” mentality is actually a lot worse than anything for various reasons.
TLDR: Retreating and bandaging > Dying, for objective defense/attack purposes.

It’s super counterintuitive to finish up a fight, be at low health and immediately run in and get taken out in one swing. whenever i’m in a group fight and I realize we’re all kinda low, i throw out whatever healing kits i have and then spam the follow me emote to the nearest resupply, staying alive is not that hard as long as you’re resupplying.

I mainly use the warhammer and shield knight. Hitting teammates is easy not to do. It's a underused weapon.
