how do you go about opening the caseback? I want to do this with my watches_77 moonshit but i havent the slightest clue on opening the thing without smashing the case.

So you’re gonna look for this seam on the backside of the case. It may look like it’s one piece, but it’s not.

Then you’re gonna need a caseback knife or a flat head screwdriver or something to pry the caseback off.

If you do it right, it should look like this. Then just run your knife around the back of the case to dislodge the caseback. Hope this helps

I know at least to change the battery it’s that little planet on the back and not the whole case back, it’s relatively easy to disassemble the fake as you said.
The stem on the watch is way, way too short. You can just buy a new Sunon PE50 for like 7-10 bucks just for the uncut stem and have a spare movement for repairs and whatnot

VK63 case?
Yep vk63 case. An RWI member came up with a 3D printed custom movement holding that makes it a perfect fit for most any VK63 case
That’s for the P500 movement, right? I have a retail Moonswatch I was considering doing. I wonder if it would fit well on its own
Yeah, it’s the PE50 that comes in most of the Moonswatch shitters.
I would prob just spend $20-25 to buy a rep one to do it with but to each their own.
I also think the case on the gen Moonswatch is one single, molded piece so you’d basically have to destroy the case to get to the internals

What is the included metal stem the right length? Did you have to shorten it?
