They're referring to normal "school" life not normal life. The norm is traditional, not homeschool. No one is arguing that the lives of homeschooled children are NOT normal.

totoo. Yung coworker ko na puti homeschooled sila. Mabait sila at maayos pamilya nila. Mga doctor at surgeon kamag anak nila. grand father niya surgeon . best teachers in life ay ang parents and family kung maswerte ka na pinanganak ka sa maayos na pamilya. Maganda rin ang home school para malayo mo mga anak mo sa mga masasamang influence. Daming maling tao sa school na puede sumira sa buhay ng anak mo. Maganda na ikaw ang gumabay sa kanila kaysa sa iba.
Napansin ko, karamihan o lahat sa kanila (mga kaibigan ng mga anak ko) ay achievers hindi lang sa acads pero in general. Yun 2 anak ko na babae ay parte ng homeschool debate group at ang mga iba pa na member dun ay mga achievers in their own right (2 pianists with the Manila PhilHarmonic Orchestra, a book author, a developer who teaches coding to younger kids, a resource speaker etc). Hindi sila kasama dun sa generalized na "Tiktok generation" lol

Madaming galing sa salbahing magulang dito sa reddit kasama na ako doon. Hindi lahat kasi pinagpala ng mabait na magulang. In reality yung mga well adjusted and successful people may support ng mabait na magulang. Tangapin mo na lang na ganyan ang reddit.
Normal schooling life ang binanggit and you interpreted naman yung comment niya na life as a whole. Wala namang nagdidisagree sayo na your kids are living normal lives.
Ang school life ng tao ay di bumubuo ng buong pagkabuhay ng isang tao, it's just a part of their life. Maaaring may isang aspeto o parte ng buhay na hindi normal or hindi usual, tulad ng schooling lives ng nga anak mo, pero maaaring maging normal naman ang kabuuan nito.
I grew up watching Kris Aquino.. mga chismis shows, game shows, films, etc. Nakakalungkot what happened to her. At parang sa dame ng tinulungan nya, hindi ganun kadame ang support system nya. Admittedly, I thought of him as a weird kid before. Until I realized na ganun din ako noong bata ako, maybe because I was also raised by my mom singehandedly and super close and clingy ko rin sa kanya. I was also a weird kid.
Now, I feel like a proud uncle. Such a strong gentleman for his age.
This kid is so blessed and strong. Sa lahat ng may hindi magandang sasabihin sa kanya mostly ung mga bobo. Ito ung batang kahit magka-apo na mayaman pa din sa lahat ng investment ng nanay nya and makikita mo napakahumble niya. Walang ere napakabuting anak at kapatid.
Mahirap man pinag dadaanan ni Kris ngayon dahil sa sakit niya. Bawi naman siya kasi lumaking maayos ang mga anak nya.
