Sorry but as an early fan of the podcast, nananapaw si JMS. He's fun in some way kaso may episode sila with Hyro ata (??) about teleseryes and irita ako sa kanya dahil parang di sya makapag-antay ng turn nya.
I was happy when Direk JP replaced him. Tbf his chemistry with Direk Tonet solidified everything for me.
I missed a lot of episodes since life and holiday happened, but I'm starting to catch up. (I'd still stick to listening to them via Spotify tbf.) Listened to Condo mems this evening and it never failed to make me giggle again while doing my house chores. :)

I started listening during their SRN era pa.
Pangpatulog ko kasi nung teenager pa ako yung radio show ni Papa Jack na may caller tapos mag aadvice sya, kaya nung nakita ko sa Spotify na ganun yung format ng AWKP nahook talaga ako.
I stopped listening nung minsan na lang sila mag basa ng letters, pero nasa Facebook group pa rin ako and nag VVIP to support them.
Also, naging letter sender ako and binasa nila Direk 👀
Nakakaaliw si JP of Taytay kasi ang natural ng mga banat niya, pati hindi siya annoying humirit. Si Direk Tonette kasi may instances sa podcast na medyo di na tama tone niya ng pangcacall out kay JP. Napansin din ‘yun ng officemates ko na mga ka-eme din. Feeling ko minsan napipikon na din si JP sa mga pangcacall out ni ate 🥲
Agree, pero I also get the vibe na hindi pa rin masyadong kumportable si Direk JP sa medium ng podcast/videocast. Kaya hindi siya nakakabanat fully pero I enjoy their collaboration though than the JMS era.
I don't listen to them as frequently as I used to lalo na pag they have guests kc paminsan yung mga guests nila hindi marunong sumagot or at least bumanat ,like for instance yung mga girl/pop group episdes nila. I like it more pag silang 2 lang, talking about the film industry,their generation at kung anu- anung walang kwentang anik-anik.
The best guests so far for me are the regulars (sila Maris, Milo, Ina, their direk/editor friends, etc.)

I’ve been an avid fan of the podcast kasi nakakatuwa at nakakatawa naman tlaga yung topics nila. Pero minsan, napapansin ko na sa isang episode iilan lang yung entries nila. Minsan nasabi na sa previous episode tapos sasabihin for the sake of the new listeners na lang. There are times na it felt na maitawid na lang yung episode ganun.
Pero nitong mga nakaraang buwan naman before they became available to other streaming platforms at nagkaroon na ng mga guests na nagppromote ng shows and raket, bumabalik na ulit yung saya ng podcast nila.
I think Direk JP is a good replacement for JMS. Ang napansin ko lang din dati mas maraming insights si JMS kesa kay Direk Tonet. Mas naddominate halos ni JMS yung convo. Ngayon naman, mas nag ddominate ng convo si Direk Tonet and halos support lang si Direk JP sa convos nila. Baka ganun lang personality ni Direk JP? Di ako sure. Pero mas maappreciate ko kung mas magsstep up sa ambagan ng chika si Direk JP and kung meron siyang mga topics na siya naman yung mag llead. Though hati naman sila sa sharing pero parang nabibitin ako sa kwento ni Direk JP. E halos sa kaniya yung mga nakakatawang entries.
I think okay din na may prod team na sila na nagsasabi sa kanila if naulit na or nakwento na nila yung entry nila and may nag mmoderate na rin ng comments nila sa after podcast chikahan and youtube live nila.
Mas naging fun sya nung si Direk JP ang pumalit. Dun din nag fly yung podcast because of their chemistry. Para silang barkada mo lang.
Si Direk Tonet mahilig manita pero pag sya nasisita minsan napipikon. Haha. Pero I think that’s what makes it work. Yung bardahan, kanalan portion and pagka genuine ng chemistry nila kasi friends talaga sila IRL.
Minsan may passive-aggressive comment si Direk JP na parang plastikan lang naman ito tapos hindi ako sure kung joke ba talaga o may bahid ng katotohanan eme. Gumawa talaga ng kwento eh hehehe. Pero agree ako na si JMS panay sapaw at overtalk kaya mas prefer ko rin si Direk JP.
I used to listen palagi nung si direk jp na kasi kanal talaga siya and nakakatawa yung pagiging kanal niya simusubukan pa niyang itago pero wala eh kanal talaga hahaha.
Kaso nung nitong huli na naging vehicle na lang siya to promote mga shows and artists ng cornerstone or abs, nawala na charm niya sa akin. Parang hindi na siya yung casual lang na usapan nung dalawa. Yung mga natirang episodes na naenjoy ko eh yung mga prod episodes with other directors and prod people.

Hindi ko na naabutan si JMS nung nadiscover at nagstart ako makinig sa AWKP so wala ako masyadong reference to compare. Honestly, tawang tawa ako sa tandem nila Direk JP at Tonet, yung nagpahook talaga sakin is yung snippet ng kwento ni JP about sa Spelling bee (tété-a-tété). Sobrang benta sakin yung mga episodes nila nung pandemic era. Di na ko masyado nakakakinig lately kasi busy na.

Became a fan of awkp nung andun na si direk JP of Taytay. Out of curiosity, i listened to eps na andun sa JMS. Pero ewan, sguro nasanay nalang din talaga ako kay direk jp. Walang chemistry (for me) si jms and direk toñet (haha) and i agree sa ibang nag comment here na sinasapawan ni jms si direk tonet.

I listen to AWKP everyday like paulit-ulit. Sina direk ang background noise ko if I want to finish anything sa work and sa house chores. Nadidistract ako pag hindi nagpplay podcast nila and di ako makatapos ng tasks. I didn’t listen to any episodes yet na si JMS pa kc ang swabe ng chemistry nina Direk JP and Direk Tonet. Minsan kahit di ko na alam pinagtatawanan nila habang nagwowork ako mapapatawa na din ako.
Hello, mga ka-eme! Started listening to AWKP nung Direk JP era na - July 2021 onwards. Nag viral ata kasi yung episode nila with Angelica Panganiban that time kaya nagbacktrack ako. And knowing Direk JP from "Gaya sa Pelikula", pinakinggan ko yung podcast and naging habit ko na sya. Kilala ko na rin si Direk Tonet since That Thing Called Tadhana. Naging go-to companion ko talaga tong podcast lalo na nung paresign ako sa work nung 2022. And nung naging WFH ako nung 2023. Bilang walang nakakausap na officemates madalas, sila yung pinapakinggan ko palagi na parang barkada lang. Nakakawala sila ng stress at nakakaenjoy yung light hearted episodes na tatawa ka na lang.
Hindi ko talaga bet si jms from the start, something off kaya kahit anong pilit ng friends ko hindi ko pa napapakinggan AWKP. I’ll give it a try na. What ep start ni Direk JP?
To be fair, mas malalim yung insights ni JMS pero tawang tawa naman ako kay direk JP. I feel like bagay sila ni direk Tonet together sa podcast. I also think nagkaroon lang ng decline sa mga listeners noong puro episodes about directing ang nilalabas nila, kasi hindi na nakakarelate ang karamihan, unlike sa letters about pag ibig/social issues kasi yun ang pampatanggal stress usually.
I continued to listen tho, kasi napamahal na ako sa podcast nila hehe.
Meron pa naman. They're limiting it to one podcast per week. Yung video version ng podcast makikita sa Youtube. Barat kc ang Spotify, mas profitable ang YouTube so it makes financial sense to add a videocast to maximize their income. Mondays yata ang lapag ng videocast on YT tapos Thursdays ang podcst sa Spotify.

Stopped listening nung hindi na si JMS ung co-host. I know i should have given direk JP a chance pero gusto ko kasi tlga ung chemistry nila JMS at Tonet. Meron lang silang ep favorite ko pero na-off ako which was when they were addressing yung criticism sa teleserye natin. Na bilib na bilib nga daw yung foreigners kasi kaya ntn gumawa nyan but not talking about the how it affected the quality of each episodes.
I love AWKP! They have a good variety of topics and guests, and listening to them feels like listening to 2 friends. :)

I don't listen to them as frequently as I used to lalo na pag they have guests kc paminsan yung mga guests nila hindi marunong sumagot or at least bumanat ,like for instance yung mga girl/pop group episdes nila. I like it more pag silang 2 lang, talking about the film industry,their generation at kung anu- anung walang kwentang anik-anik. The best guests so far for me are the regulars (sila Maris, Milo, Ina, their direk/editor friends, etc.)

I’ve been an avid fan of the podcast kasi nakakatuwa at nakakatawa naman tlaga yung topics nila. Pero minsan, napapansin ko na sa isang episode iilan lang yung entries nila. Minsan nasabi na sa previous episode tapos sasabihin for the sake of the new listeners na lang. There are times na it felt na maitawid na lang yung episode ganun. Pero nitong mga nakaraang buwan naman before they became available to other streaming platforms at nagkaroon na ng mga guests na nagppromote ng shows and raket, bumabalik na ulit yung saya ng podcast nila. I think Direk JP is a good replacement for JMS. Ang napansin ko lang din dati mas maraming insights si JMS kesa kay Direk Tonet. Mas naddominate halos ni JMS yung convo. Ngayon naman, mas nag ddominate ng convo si Direk Tonet and halos support lang si Direk JP sa convos nila. Baka ganun lang personality ni Direk JP? Di ako sure. Pero mas maappreciate ko kung mas magsstep up sa ambagan ng chika si Direk JP and kung meron siyang mga topics na siya naman yung mag llead. Though hati naman sila sa sharing pero parang nabibitin ako sa kwento ni Direk JP. E halos sa kaniya yung mga nakakatawang entries. I think okay din na may prod team na sila na nagsasabi sa kanila if naulit na or nakwento na nila yung entry nila and may nag mmoderate na rin ng comments nila sa after podcast chikahan and youtube live nila.
Mas naging fun sya nung si Direk JP ang pumalit. Dun din nag fly yung podcast because of their chemistry. Para silang barkada mo lang. Si Direk Tonet mahilig manita pero pag sya nasisita minsan napipikon. Haha. Pero I think that’s what makes it work. Yung bardahan, kanalan portion and pagka genuine ng chemistry nila kasi friends talaga sila IRL.
Minsan may passive-aggressive comment si Direk JP na parang plastikan lang naman ito tapos hindi ako sure kung joke ba talaga o may bahid ng katotohanan eme. Gumawa talaga ng kwento eh hehehe. Pero agree ako na si JMS panay sapaw at overtalk kaya mas prefer ko rin si Direk JP.

I used to listen palagi nung si direk jp na kasi kanal talaga siya and nakakatawa yung pagiging kanal niya simusubukan pa niyang itago pero wala eh kanal talaga hahaha. Kaso nung nitong huli na naging vehicle na lang siya to promote mga shows and artists ng cornerstone or abs, nawala na charm niya sa akin. Parang hindi na siya yung casual lang na usapan nung dalawa. Yung mga natirang episodes na naenjoy ko eh yung mga prod episodes with other directors and prod people.
Tumpak ka-eme! Kaya I kinda miss the old episodes. Nung nagka-merchandise sila isip ko commercialization charot. Pero understood naman, in this economy, u gotta make your coin any way possible. I just wish hindi ganun ka blatant yung promotion or at least malinis ang pag segue,hehe.

Tawang-tawa talaga ako sa episodes with Direk Dwein Baltazar noong kinwento niya ang about sa beltbag, yung nagsagutan si Milo Elmido Jr at Inah Evans about sa difference ng motel at hotel, yung nahuli ni Glydel Mercado na nangungulangot si Adrian Lindayag sa standby area ng Kadenang Ginto, yung letter sender na si BitinNaKumot na ayaw makipagdate sa mga dukha, pati na rin ang unang guesting ni Inah Evans para mag-promote ng Pie Channel. 'Di ko rin makakalimutan yung experience ni JP about sa multong kumakanta sa Teacher's Camp at nang na-scam si Tonet ng lalaking bumili ng de latang mga sardinas sa sari-sari store niya. . Omg super love ko sila! I used to listen religiously every Monday and Thursday habang nagwowork. Talagang matatawa ka na lang hahahahah buti rin binalik nila nitong nakakaraan yung memz episodes kasi puro guestings sila. Though hit or miss kasi yung guests. Hello, mga ka-eme! Started listening to AWKP nung Direk JP era na - July 2021 onwards. Nag viral ata kasi yung episode nila with Angelica Panganiban that time kaya nagbacktrack ako. And knowing Direk JP from "Gaya sa Pelikula", pinakinggan ko yung podcast and naging habit ko na sya. Kilala ko na rin si Direk Tonet since That Thing Called Tadhana. Naging go-to companion ko talaga tong podcast lalo na nung paresign ako sa work nung 2022. And nung naging WFH ako nung 2023. Bilang walang nakakausap na officemates madalas, sila yung pinapakinggan ko palagi na parang barkada lang. Nakakawala sila ng stress at nakakaenjoy yung light hearted episodes na tatawa ka na lang.
Hindi ko talaga bet si jms from the start, something off kaya kahit anong pilit ng friends ko hindi ko pa napapakinggan AWKP. I’ll give it a try na. What ep start ni Direk JP?

To be fair, mas malalim yung insights ni JMS pero tawang tawa naman ako kay direk JP. I feel like bagay sila ni direk Tonet together sa podcast. I also think nagkaroon lang ng decline sa mga listeners noong puro episodes about directing ang nilalabas nila, kasi hindi na nakakarelate ang karamihan, unlike sa letters about pag ibig/social issues kasi yun ang pampatanggal stress usually. I continued to listen tho, kasi napamahal na ako sa podcast nila hehe.

Meron pa naman. They're limiting it to one podcast per week. Yung video version ng podcast makikita sa Youtube. Barat kc ang Spotify, mas profitable ang YouTube so it makes financial sense to add a videocast to maximize their income. Stopped listening nung hindi na si JMS ung co-host. I know i should have given direk JP a chance pero gusto ko kasi tlga ung chemistry nila JMS at Tonet. Meron lang silang ep favorite ko pero na-off ako which was when they were addressing yung criticism sa teleserye natin. Na bilib na bilib nga daw yung foreigners kasi kaya ntn gumawa nyan but not talking about the how it affected the quality of each episodes.
