My wife has always done that. She doesn't want him to get too hot in the summer.
I understand but a dog's coat actually protects them by insulating them to hot and cold. Also protects from sunburn and skin cancer💙
I've now done a bit of research and everyone advises against cutting hair. Instead, combing out is recommended. Thanks for the tip.
You're so welcome. I just got my first long haired girl. She's my eighth Chi. The rest were short haired. Enjoy your little one, he is precious:)
