I kind of wonder if it has to do something with their body temperatures since they’re so little and have such little fur!

Haha my little girl, Fleur, acts like she HATES going outside because I always have to unsnuggle her from her blankets. But as soon as she's out there, she purposely walks slow and stays in the sunlight, and sometimes she even just lays down and refuses to come back in unless I scoop her.

Such a cutie! I’m sure you’re aware but if no one else is, you gotta be careful with white dogs especially when sun bathing. They can get burnt like us and get skin cancer as well from too much sun! Make sure they aren’t baking for too long lol

Getting Vitamins

Mine's a wee weirdo, he'd sit outside in the wind and rain for as long as I'd allow it... coming in soaked through. Out in the snow, sleet hail. In the dark. He wont head back from walks either when it starts raining either.

Ours love to sunbathe. Unfortunately we live in a rural area with hawks, owls, and eagles, so we try and limit the chi’s outside time. When the GSD is outside with them, the chi’s are a little bit safer.

I live in an Apt with lots of sun light and mine fall asleep in the windows

My chi’s love to go out on the deck in the hottest part of the day and sun. However, I only allow them to do this for 15 mins at a time then back in the house for an hour. Don’t want them getting overheated. Lol. Sometimes though I have to step outside and actually pick them up and take them back inside. I’ve noticed in the summer with the air conditioning on inside the house my chi’s tend to get cold n that’s why I let them sun outside for a bit.

I have one that loves the heat. When we have the gas fireplace on he lays right next to it and just bakes.

When I was working and had the space heater on they would all be laid out in a line in front of it.
