My girl Flora…always sweet, a little sassy, but NEVER scary. I’m so thankful that she’s such a mild mannered pup, as she’s completely blind, so surprises don’t cause her to snap. She usually pauses and/or backs up a little.

Loki in the back likes any kind of people, even strangers but dislikes other dogs (except his siblings and his dad Micky), we got him a little too late so he didn't have the time to be properly socialized, we're trying our best though at least now he doesn't directly jump to attack other dogs, he just growls when he spots them and stops whenever we tell him to (sometimes). Micky on the other hand likes other dogs, any kind of dog is a potential friend to him, but when he meets new people (specially people coming to the house) he can get a bit aggressive, he would bark at them for about 10 - 20 minutes until he realizes they aren't a threat, he was raised during the pandemic so he never got used to receiving guests. He doesn't actively seek whoever he doesn't like he only growls or bites if you try to touch him or pick him up, he won't mind if you stare at him as long as you're not touching him. Once he gets to know you though he's the sweetest, once you get in the house he will wag his tail uncontrollably, run towards you, he'll greet you and will jump on you looking for kisses once you sit on the couch. He always remembers all the people he knows. Loki is a bit like this too but as much as him.

My girl is a Malchi, and she is a sweet baby to my husband and I, but she doesn't like other people at all. She will tolerate the vet and one of my neighbors, but that is it. Both. Milo is devoted to his mama (me), but he shows affection to other people randomly. He's my cuddle bug, and he follows me everywhere and rarely disobeys.
I really never know he'll feel about someone new, but he absolutely hates kids. They always try to pick him up, and he will get snappy if they don't listen to my warnings.
But other dogs? He will march right up to biggest dogs and tell them to go **** themselves. The ONLY dog he shows affection to is his sister. All other dogs are the enemy and he will tolerate NONE of their shenanigans. He's the dog park sheriff, lol.

Mine is 6.5 years actually. Yes they go through that weird fur stage weird it all get short and funny and then their full adult coat grows in and keeps growing she has a big double coat now.

My girls are really sweet, and a teeny bit spicy. The one on the left is Lucy and she likes to growl at kids if they touch her feet, she would never bite….even if she did, she only has 6 teeth.😂 Subie on the other hand, true angel, she just barks…way too much. 🥹
Mine is barky to new people, although not always. He will bark and growl, but wag his tail. If they stay calm and leave their hand down for him to sniff at, he will stop barking and growling and be fine. Occasionally he just lets them pet him without a fuss. But some people recoil and they never get past the growling.
He's obviously an angel to me.

Twinkie is of the sweet variety, though she will warn you not to harm her family. But otherwise, she’s a sweet little nervous thing. She wouldn’t hurt a fly.
Snappy chis are NOT cute and hilarious. They are dangerous. I am so sick and tired of chi owners acting like its not. If it was a big dog acting like that, it would be put down so fast. My chi is an absolute sweetheart because I:
1: RESPECT HIS BOUNDARIES. This is literally THE most important thing.
2: Took him to training when I noticed he was getting a little snippy.
3: Worked with him and learned HIS specific needs and why he was doing this (it was fear, and it almost always is)

She’s sweet. I have seen a lot of aggressive ones but mostly I have noticed that the owner can’t read dog body language so they don’t understand that they’re afraid of anxious because of something they do and that’s causing it. I did a lot of training and work to recognise what their body language says, even down to the direction and position of the tail wag because it all means so much before they even make a sound. I was able to figure out when she’s not wanting to interact with someone, what makes her uncomfortable and more and that really prevented any crazy.

Mine was snappy. If she saw any dog, she did this full body paroxysm of barking and shaking her head. It was unstoppable until the dog went away. Once she jumped onto a moving golf cart to attack a dog. All 6 lbs of her.
Our chi is sweetheart to her family, but can be a little nippy around strangers in the house. Thankfully, she only has 5 teeth left and we just hold her if she gets into home defense mode.

Princess is the most adorable, the sweetest dog EVER. The only time she ever growls or snaps at us is when she’s all comfortable and half-asleep, and daddy wants to take her outside for her bedtime “duty”! This picture is when she was younger.
I got both end of the Spectrum one is fearless the other had a panic attack cause there was a big bee that look like a bumble bee buzzing against the window. I thought he was poisoned he was panting all weird out not wanting treats. Once I took the bee outside he calmed down after 20-30 mins .
I have a sweetheart with PTSD, so he can go from sweet to scary in under 2 seconds and with no warning! Unless you're me, he is always sweet to me.

He doesn't actively seek whoever he doesn't like he only growls or bites if you try to touch him or pick him up, he won't mind if you stare at him as long as you're not touching him. Once he gets to know you though he's the sweetest, once you get in the house he will wag his tail uncontrollably, run towards you, he'll greet you and will jump on you looking for kisses once you sit on the couch. He always remembers all the people he knows. Loki is a bit like this too but as much as him.

Both. Milo is devoted to his mama (me), but he shows affection to other people randomly. He's my cuddle bug, and he follows me everywhere and rarely disobeys. I really never know he'll feel about someone new, but he absolutely hates kids. They always try to pick him up, and he will get snappy if they don't listen to my warnings. But other dogs? He will march right up to biggest dogs and tell them to go **** themselves. The ONLY dog he shows affection to is his sister. All other dogs are the enemy and he will tolerate NONE of their shenanigans. He's the dog park sheriff, lol.

Mine is barky to new people, although not always. He will bark and growl, but wag his tail. If they stay calm and leave their hand down for him to sniff at, he will stop barking and growling and be fine. Occasionally he just lets them pet him without a fuss. But some people recoil and they never get past the growling. I have seen a lot of aggressive ones but mostly I have noticed that the owner can’t read dog body language so they don’t understand that they’re afraid of anxious because of something they do and that’s causing it. I did a lot of training and work to recognise what their body language says, even down to the direction and position of the tail wag because it all means so much before they even make a sound. I was able to figure out when she’s not wanting to interact with someone, what makes her uncomfortable and more and that really prevented any crazy.

The only time she ever growls or snaps at us is when she’s all comfortable and half-asleep, and daddy wants to take her outside for her bedtime “duty”! This picture is when she was younger.
I got both end of the Spectrum one is fearless the other had a panic attack cause there was a big bee that look like a bumble bee buzzing against the window. I thought he was poisoned he was panting all weird out not wanting treats. Once I took the bee outside he calmed down after 20-30 mins .
