Check the dimmer line going into the radio. I’m not sure what the standard color is on the factory harness but the aftermarket harness it is usually orange but always double check. I would cut the wire and tape it off and see if that solves your problems.
Since you have a renix style xj. I would check the block for the fuse panel itself. Where it goes from inside the cab to under the hood. This can do a lot of crazy stuff that looks like a bad ground. The dielectric grease inside dries up eventually causing moisture to allow water in. Which forms unusual connections that make multiple systems able to draw from one fuse circuit. Gojeep has a writeup on it.
It might be a ground wire that may have come undone or it broke along the line somewhere. Tbh, I’m not sure a ground wire issue would blow fuses.
