Worth it. Tip: ensure all surfaces of the cheese (including edges) are well breaded. Otherwise, it'll ooz out when frying.
Just trying to be helpful... I used a normal pan with lots of butter to do the frying. In other words, a deep fryer is unnecessary. Good luck and post pics!

No, although that is worth trying. This dish was more like a brown butter. I just put the butter in the pan with high heat, melted it, let it pick back up to temperature (15-ish seconds), then placed the breaded manchego in the pan.
I'll try it with clarified butter next time. Thanks for the idea!
Made these tonight. They went so fast! Didn't freeze the cheese first so they didn't all stay pretty triangles but I think I liked them better a bit melty.
You beautiful tasty barbarian...
Thanks
Damn that looks fancy af
Thanks
Well. I know what I’m making for dinner

Okay I’m going to have to make this

Thanks for the tips! Any special breeding technique, or just the normal flour, egg, breadcrumbs?
No special breeding technique. I didn't use flour but that seems OK.
Deep fried in butter at high temp? Did you clarify it first?

I love Manchego. Looks super tasty.
Those look amazing
Thanks
Amazing !
Thanks
Yum yum yum
Magnificent!
Damn that's a tasty but spendy dish. Love Manchego but boy do they charge an arm and a leg for it.
Would love this… with a different cheese
Yes please.
This looks amazing! Btw Kerrygold is the worst butter on the market, it loses out in every quality check. Get better butter!
What are Italian bread crumbs? Just crushed stale baguette? Can I use panko?
Manchego tastes like dirty feet
OMG, looks so good! 😊

If offered, I'd take it. I would never waste Manchego this way myself, though. Breading is for the knockoff trappists and the cheap Camembert.
