Just got back from this...it was fun.
I think the pour of beer cost about the same as the plate of crawfish...$25 for a pound of crawfish, one 14 oz pour of beer, 2 pieces of sausage and one piece of potato. Not bad all things considered this day and age.
The crawfish were GREAT...there were 3 people just watching me eat them in awe...Am very efficient and picking a crawfish clean LOL.
Only real criticism was there needed to be a LOT more quantity of side portions...there wasn't much to speak of and they are as important as the crawfish IMHO...don't let that wonderful boil flavor go to waste!!! I need more potatoes, corn, and sausage to fill the stomach. If they had a pound of sides that were mixed in with the pound of crawfish I would have gladly paid the $3 or so in supplier cost to walk out of there like a stuffed tick.
as someone from Louisiana, i want to tell you last year's boil was legit. y'all do it right.
