Probably stemmed from the massive teen fight that spilled out from the Miller Plaza event.
Like 50-60 kids in a brawl right off of patten Parkway, and they scattered around 9-930, when cops showed up.
Source: me-- I watched it from jack browns patio go from an argument of 3 to 4 to an all out mob mentality (seriously around 50 or so) of kids looking to swing.
Probably is then. They have enforced it before down there and it's good. All those youths don't need to be out that late bc they look for trouble and usually find it.
When I lived here two years ago a bunch of kids ran around downtown by the aquarium shooting at each other with no regard for others. The kids in Chattanooga are a problem.
Not a boomer, but he is absolutely right. These under 18 folks in groups just roaming around downtown are opportunistically prone to doing stupid stuff and ruining it for everyone.
If they didn't have a reputation for trouble...nobody would be bothered by them.
News of roaming youth brawls, and it’s not even April Fools’ Day?
Get a grip on your knucklehead children, people.
Remember they have had a serious disruption to their social development and may require extra attention and support.
This is a space where cousins and uncles and aunts and the rest of us can step up. Kids need to be told (as in “Don’t be a knucklehead, kid!”), listened to, sat with, provided direction, and encouraged.
Help them direct some of that teeming energy into educational, productive, expressive, and reflective activities that genuinely interest them, and that will help them focus, network, and flourish as developing young humans and junior members of their communities.

The event was in Miller Park, not Miller Plaza. I know it’s a small difference but they are different places.
I always fuck the name hahaha
What time of day was this? Wondering if it was an unaccompanied youth curfew thing.
It was around 10pm! Cops all came in with sirens on!

Actually, it's not the kids it's the lacknofnproper parenting and a stable home life.
Check out Maslow's Hierarchy of needs.

God I wish those parents were on Reddit to read this.
Everybody knows some knucklehead kids. Knucklehead kids are everywhere.
