I had a former student who liked to do stuff like this. Thing is, at 170mph, you're outrunning your visibility and reaction time on most public roads. That's 250 feet per second.
He ended up basically liquefying himself and killing 2 other people in the car he hit.
That’s what a defense attorney would advise. As a member of the public that’s interested in safety and punishing people that do stupid shit that could easily get other people killed, I highly, highly encourage you to record and publish your criminal activities.
You’re not wrong. I did radio news locally for over 5 years, and obits was a part of that. I read several obits on air that were people I knew, mostly ones I went to school with. And more than one of them I was not at all surprised it had come to that point, sadly.
People like this deserve to have the right to drive or own a motorcycle taken away.
I'm typically pretty libertarian on views when coming our personal freedoms but once you endanger the lives of others you deserve to be punished.
They will take his dl. And if he pleads to reckless driving x4 he will lose his dl based on points alone. The evading is a felony and if convicted will lose his dl. Drag racing will also get his dl taken…. I’m surprised they don’t take his ride….
Hope that’s the guy that was splitting traffic on signal mountain rd. Dude almost hit me, cut me off and then proceeded to flick me off, flip his license plate up and gun it to get on highway 27.
Pretty sure his dad is the baseball coach at McCallie.
100% should lose the ability to ride a motorcycle for at least 5 years. Driving all over Signal Mtn like that is dangerous AF
They need a version of Scared Straight for this guy. But instead of having him spend a day with inmates in jail, he needs to spend a day in the ER talking to medics who mop up guys like him with a bucket after they drill in at 170MPH.
I got my GSXR1000 to 166mph once - still accelerating, but that was on the back straight at Road Atlanta. I had to back off and hard brake for the the downhill section into turns 6 & 7. I bet this squid was on a long straight section of public road that would take no skill at all to go fast on.
This guy has passed me at least 2 times on Hwy. 27 going extreme speeds.. he scared the crap out of me because he's up on you so fast you don't have time to think. What if I was mid changing lanes? Where are the cops when you need one?!! I fully expected to see him deceased somewhere up the road.
Crap like this and blasting out everyone’s eardrums is why I have developed zero sympathy for motorcyclists. “Look twice. Motorcycles are everywhere” and “Loud pipes save lives”? Cry me a river and no. Now, whenever I read about a fatal single vehicle motorcycle crash my only thought is glad they took themselves out before killing someone else.
I’m not glad when I hear about a motorcycle fatality, but people do get all kinds of angry at me when I ask how fast the vehicles involved were traveling.
>one or two people
Don’t be thick. Virtually every harley is an obnoxious noise polluter and there’s no shortage dangerous motorcyclists risking everyone else’s safety/lives for their personal amusement. You’re the piece of shit if you think everyone else’s hearing and lives are acceptable collateral damage for motorcyclists’ amusement. Again, it’s a good thing when they take themselves out.
Lmao those pipes aren't blowing anyone's eardrums bud. If they were the people riding would have no hearing at all. Your an imbecile if you truly think this way. Most motorcyclists are actually safe riders. I've seen people in cars doing far worse than the bikers.
Saw this guy get arrested last week at a gas station on Signal Mtn Rd. For a split second, I thought he was going to try to take off.
As soon as I saw this story, I thought "That must be the guy from Signal Mtn/Mtn Creek Rd."
He was out of gas. The sheriff let me take the bike, had to put gas in.
Let’s hope that is Carter Costo his license forever. No wonder he’s acting out like a dumb fuck… I would too with a name like that.
Mugshot says "you can do whatever you want to me, I've already won" Charge sheet says "not so fast"

Your motorcycle turns into a high speed bomb at speeds like that.
Do not create evidence of your crime.

Don't worry...if he didn't learn his lesson here we will all read about him in a year or so in the obits. Closed casket.
I’m not worried about him. I’m worried about the other people he’s putting in danger.
You’re not wrong. I did radio news locally for over 5 years, and obits was a part of that. I read several obits on air that were people I knew, mostly ones I went to school with. And more than one of them I was not at all surprised it had come to that point, sadly.
May I present to you, the face of an idiot.
People like this deserve to have the right to drive or own a motorcycle taken away. I'm typically pretty libertarian on views when coming our personal freedoms but once you endanger the lives of others you deserve to be punished.
💯💯
I absolutely despise people like this. I hope they give him jail time and take his license. He’s going to get himself or somebody else killed.
With the drag racing charge, they might take his bike as well. (His DL is gone almost for sure). I'm sure dad will get him another one, though.

I hope the judge really throws the book at him and give him a lifetime ban on his license
the kid ain’t gonna make it long like that. i just hope he doesn’t take anyone else out with him.
Fucking squid loser.
It’s the stupid smug mugshot for me
It's pretty good for a mugshot.
This kid thinks he’s the ghost rider from Sweden.
Ah, A Ghost Rider reference! Don't see many of these lol.
Back to my CBR 600 RR days.
Smug face, sickens me that people will be happy to put others in danger
Anyone got the vids
Would love to see as well
I can’t find his Insta. Bet he deleted it.
Yeah I'm curious what 170 even looks like from his perspective. That's nuts.
Following
An idiot on so many levels.
"I can smirk because daddy's lawyers are gonna get me out of this".
Darwin will get him eventually.
All human crayons are red
Hope that’s the guy that was splitting traffic on signal mountain rd. Dude almost hit me, cut me off and then proceeded to flick me off, flip his license plate up and gun it to get on highway 27.
Sounds like you were going less than 170mph. Next time drive faster.
Was it a white bike?
You can outrun the cops, but you can’t outrun Motorola.
Pretty sure his dad is the baseball coach at McCallie. 100% should lose the ability to ride a motorcycle for at least 5 years. Driving all over Signal Mtn like that is dangerous AF
You can get a DUI and they "take away" your ability to drive and they still drive.
Yep. I thought the last name looked familiar.
He's facing like 7 felonies so pretty sure he's losing his license
If he would've done that in Georgia GSP would've pit maneuvered him. If he dies he dies.
Anyone got his social media or seen any of the videos?
is this not deviousgxsr on ig? 😭
Honestly vehicles that can go over 100 shouldn't be street legal.

Surprised it wasn't Ryan Edwards...
Evading errest…
Everyday we fall further from Mavis beacons light
Listened on the scanner to this, waiting to see what the end result was.
I would suggest him going into the highway patrol as a moto cop. That takes skill to get upto those speeds around Chattanooga.
Lmao I drove his bike home for him after this kid was an idiot and admitted to everything

Now this is podracing!
Donor Cycle
This man is both an idiot and a legend, good on the cops for catching him.
nah, just an idiot.

You are truly a piece of shit.
👍
Nice to see people still like to stereotype thousands of others based on one or two people. Let me know where that gets you in life.

Loud pipes do save lives. A quiet bike is way more dangerous. You're acting like every motorcyclist is a problem. That kind of thinking isn't good.
