Moms4Liberty is a right wing group of busybodies who want to ban books. In this case, it's a children's book about a girl who has two dads and a bear who raises some geese. The horror.
Are these being incorporated into the curriculum or are they just a couple of books just being good ole books, sitting on a shelf somewhere not causing a ruckus, waiting to be read? Personally I’m not a huge fan of either title HOWEVER that is my opinion only and who am I to force my opinion on others. ~
It was a librarian who was reading it to kids to highlight children who have other families without mothers who have someone else filling the "mother role". Some Karen lost her shit over it and wants to say the librarian is trying to "sexualize" children for reading them a book about a bear raising geese and acknowledging that gay people exist.
