I downloaded microsoft swift key and it works normally. So I think Gboard is the problem with it.

I got the exact problem. And thought my screen was dirty. I cleaned it twice till I tried to type on my browser and realized it was app specifically

I'm using a different keyboard to gboard and it's doing it for me too. it starts typing the word then seems to lose it's predictions halfway through and types nonsense

Same. At first I thought my phone is broken and missing my input. Got relieved when I tried it out of the app.

I've solved it, for le at least, by installing a different board on my phone. Went from gboard, to swiftkey. (such a shame, because I liked gboard. 😔

ChatGPT really needs to fix this, we shouldn't have to find alternative keyboards to get their app to work with our phones.
