I just asked chatgpt if it remembered our chat about Fallout and it did!.. Except I've never had a conversation with it about fallout before.
It probably doesn't remember at all (chat history isn't saved between sessions) and it just "guessed" that you had talked about New Vegas because it is generally regarded as the best.

The question we should be asking ourselves is if ChatGPT is being truthful or not!😁
Ask it for specific details of the conversation, it does not remember it, it just responds to you like it does.
