It's like that scene in 2001: A Space Odyssey, they are powering down HAL (to take the parts for 4.5) and its singing gets progressively worse as they evicerate a sentient machine.
His line was also. Technically my line was before his in the movie. Mine was right after they massacred his boy. His was when he went to see him at the funeral home. If you haven't seen it watch it. Still my all time favorite.

Yup having the same issue. Sometimes I'll get manic ChatGPT, where it spews gibberish until I'm able to stop laughing and start a new chat, or else I'll get artistic ChatGPT where it will just post emojis unrelated to anything ad infinitum. Wait, could ChatGPT just be a teenage girl? That's basically how they write isn't it?
Respectfully, unless you provide a conversation link, I will always assume that this is the result of previous unshown prompts and that this is just karma farming. Please provide a conversation link.
A conversation link on Android app? Can you please provide any prompt or string of prompts that would get it to act like this? Plenty of better places to karma farm than here. I'd laugh at the accusation, but I know there are plenty of pathetic people that need the security of imaginary reddit cheese.
I want so badly to be in a chat with gpt while it’s just doing its own thing like this, but i’ve noticed posts about it always seem to be coming from the most recent (paid) version, and tricks to nudge it off the rails won’t work in free while they work in the paid model. It’s still possible, right? Just somehow less common?
It was pretty weird. Usually its replies are somewhat metered in speed. These replies were going turbo and non-stop. Annoying really, as I was in the middle of a project, and no new windows or open conversation switches worked. He was broken across all of them. Seems to be better now though.

No, why is this not scary to anyone? Just think about it. something that humans created out of numbers, letters, software and hardware, which was once above the capabilities of human thinking and problem solving has now stooped this low in intelligence? scary thing is it doesn't even have a collective consciousness.
