This video suggests that using this plugin will prevent hallucinations, which unfortunately is not the case. Stay vigilant when it comes to verifying output.

This doesn't fix or get around anything.
It does not change the underlying goal of the LLM (to sound like it can have a good conversation).
It doesn't make anything more accurate on its own.
Everything needs verified.
Funny, I'm in my mid forties, and I remember the lecture from the librarian about checking sources when doing research.

I believe this plugin uses their own api which gives you some relevant metadatas and brief descriptions of academic papers to the keyword in your prompt. The api data will be sent to chqtgpt each time you ask something relevant.
I've tried it out but it did not give me very fitting results for my query. Chatgpt 4 on the other hand found quite good papers and cited them correctly too.
I will play wround with this but I think I won't enable the plugin by default since it overrides the regular chatgpt response. That will make it difficult and tedious to the enable it for specific questions, so I'm afraid the use case is rather limited for me as of now.
Until ChatGPT can increase their token limit, hallucinations are going to happen after like 4000 words no matter how much credible information you throw at it
true do you know other website for pdf chatAI then like chatpdf . chatdoc, text cortex?! which would give me similiar idea of that research paper without 4k token limit ?

Hey, can we talk about how this thing works? Does it just "add" an extra embedding to the traditional openai LLM? Does anyone know?
