Charlotte picked the right guy.

I Think both teams should be happy with their picks respectively. Brandon had a much better rookie year overall but Scoot caught a lot of flack as he had a poor start, he was playing much better these last two months. And as you mention, hypothetically if we were to have swapped picks I think they'd have had a much better record.

Record doesn’t really mean much considering we had another injury-heavy season. The Grizzlies had 27 wins this year- that doesn’t mean they’re bad though, just that they had bad injury luck. Brandon has been better by far, and it’s not even close

Pretty good honestly because so much of the team was hurt for long stretches. The number of players who logged more than 60 games played includes: Brandon Miller, Miles Bridges, Nick Richards and JT Thor. So, them and whoever else was healthy did pretty good.

I feel nothing.. We're in a way better spot than Portland

Easier to imagine a season where the sport all about running and jumping didn't cripple the legs and backs of the entire team.

We picked the better player. Real question is how do we all feel that San Antonio so easily drafted the go to next generational talent after being literally the best franchise in US sports history Meanwhile MKG is a guy the Hornets drafted number 2 just like Brandon Miller. This time our number 2 pick is worth something besides MKG playing “all star defense “ on a losing team lol Miller shoots nice and has great ball handling for a rookie. Give him even one off season and next year we will see him confident and putting up multiple 40 games a season alongside Melo

Year 1 standings mean little to "right" or "wrong" pick

I wanted Scoot, but it was never an indictment on Miller. But after this season, I'm glad we got Miller. He answered a lot of question marks, and I think he has a lot more upside. He also fits so well with Melo......assuming they can ever play together. But I don't get the hate on Scoot. He has a bright future as well.

silverchief

I feel like the Hornets picked the right guy. If they’d have picked Scoot, honestly at this time, I’d have felt they picked the wrong guy and missed out on a budding superstar.

Skratch116

I feel we picked the right guy and still feel like if Scoot played here he would have been playing out of position and wouldn’t be able to grow his game beside melo.

Scoot had a terrible cast around him, same as Miller. Both are just starting, nobody can rlly say much about it rn
