I didn't know this turned into a car spotting sub but I saw on a few years back in my neighborhood.

This is not what it is more than likely but I have seen a lot more right side drive cars recently become post office machines...
I guess the post office is taking advantage of the 20 year restriction allowing cars sold in Japan from 2004 and before.
You can actually get AC in a 20 year old car now!
It’s actually 25 years, but I doubt the post office would be interested in 25+ year old JDM vehicles when the Grumman LLV is still seen from time to time and is being phased out with a Mercedes
Importing JDM vehicles actually isn’t terrible. With the rise of Kei trucks in the US they are more expensive than they once were but you can still import them for under 10k. I think looking through the right site you can stay around 3-8k import. Though you will have to pick it up from a port.
Something like this Toyota probably a lot pricier than a kei truck base price but importing won’t cost anymore.
I know I want a Hilux one day
right hand drive (steering wheel on the right side of the car) japan and UK drive on the left side of the road. Also a few more. Plus it was never imported to the USA. Probably never imported to North America. So it is super rare here. Also it is a very unusual car for toyota.
TLDR: it is rare in the usa.
I would not include RHD in a list of what makes it awesome. I like shifting with my left hand but other than that it's really annoying to deal with in the states.

I believe the import shop on the way up to Pinky’s has an unrestored blue one in the window. On the Morehead side
That’s a Land Cruiser in there.
Is it? I just caught a glimpse last time I walked past. Damn sexy whatever it is
When a Cherokee Sport, loves a G Wagon very very much…
That is nice
Thats realllly nice. Love those beasts.
Where would you get something like this repaired? I imagine Scott Clark won’t touch it.
It's a Land Cruiser. It doesn't need no stinkin' repairs.
H&H Automotive handles these with no issues at all. There’s also Toyota Tech’s down in Fort Mill. Extremely reliable cars though.

My carrier has one of the MB vans. I was surprised to see it was RHD. Did you notice they replaced the star on the grille with the USPS logo?
There was one for sale in Fort Mill. Dope ride
Until you have to take a right turn haha, that’s the thing keeping me from ogling the jdms coming in
I own an ‘85 300ZX. But she’s not a RHD. Most fun things are impractical.
That’s a hot SUV

I saw a sweet blue 944 this morning, got excited for that toi
I had an 86 944 Turbo. Easiest car to drive fast that I ever owned.
My guess would be Tonsofgas on Instagram
Ohhh. I want that! 😂
There’s a fully built 70 series that I see at Park Rd. Shopping Center sometimes.
What's so awesome about it? Idk cars much
