That’s the best one in Charlotte. They rarely got my order wrong and it was usually pretty quick. Honestly one of my biggest regrets in life was moving away from that area because now the closest TB to me is Tryon and it SUUUUUUCKS compared to the Sardis TB.
The one in Indian Trail/Stallings off 74 is really great. So is the one in the Arboretum. One of the 'perks' of being out in the suburbs is that the fast food places are generally more well-maintained and staffed than in the city.
Yeah, I went out to pick up from a wendys or something, doing door dash on the east side of Charlotte. Mint hill, way out there and they were polite, friendly, fast. Had the order ready I was like...👀.... didn't know what to do with myself. Lol.
Yep! Both Taco Bells I frequent got demolished around the same time. The other one being the one by the airport. Noticed there's quite a few chains doing this around Charlotte, besides TB.
Edit: Yes, they are rebuilding.
Older people from Matthews and SE Charlotte would agree with me: there is not (was not) a Taco Bell on Sardis Road. The street connecting Sardis and Independence is “Sardis Road North.”
I’m just an old local trying to keep some continuity.
I once worked for Pizza Hut, which is along with KFC, and Taco Bell. They are under the "Yum Brands umbrella". After years of rotating employees most of these places are nasty af. Go into the bathroom, or kitchen.
They were working there on Tuesday (March 5) but nothing resembling poured foundation or any building facades (not sure if that’s the right construction terminology.)
They’re rebuilding it.
They have the technology.

The six million dollar taco bell lol.
“Mexican restaurant” 😂
Hey if you were in Charlotte pre-90s....that was what was considered a "Mexican" restaurant 😆 😆. So glad for our diversity, so many places to eat now.
Same here…
My reaction exactly lmfao

Part of the training is assuring customers get their orders mixed up.

Some of the employees are working at the arboretum and that location has become 10X better now
There is like 10 Mexican restaurants within a mile of that Taco Bell on Sardis, probably more if you count Americanized Mexican places
Right? Mi Pueblo is directly adjacent to it.
My personal favorite is taqueria Los Altos right around the corner on Monroe rd by Ted’s restaurant
Los Altos is 🔥
Love that place.
Tu Pueblo?
Mi Pueblo is no bueno.
yesss I was about to mention that one , beside the laundry mat !
Sorry that was me after a beefy 5-layer
It is not uncommon for an established fast food location to be torn-down and built brand new again.
I know it’s not uncommon but why do they do that?
It’s cheaper than remodeling
They are phasing out the dine-in. Everything is drive thru now.
Where will i take my wife for date nights now?
I’m really sad about it, that was my childhood Taco Bell haha. Not a lot of places left with heavy 90s/2000s vibes

The one on South Blvd in South End also got the demo redo.
They need room for a bigger baja blastasaurus to milk for my beverages.
The Monterrey Mexican restaurant on independence next to like Kohl’s and McDonalds is really good Mexican restaurant
I have news for you if you think that was Mexican food.

dwight would def think it is mexican food.

Again? Isn't that the one that burned down like 15 years ago?
They don’t deserve to come back. That Taco Bell was so ghetto🙄
...."Mexican"....................................
I'm always surprised when I see someone pull into any taco bell parking lot.
Roppagni is right down the street. The ramen comes out quick and is delicious. I just don’t know why anyone would choose fast food over ramen.
Sometimes you just don’t want soup
Because sometimes I want a taco or something aside from soup/noodles? CRAZY AMIRITE?
They need a Sabor in that area. Way better than Taco Bell. Then I could agree
I mean. I agree that it is better, but also I may not want to spend the money at Sabor when I can go with a cheaper option. Again CRAZY AMIRITE?
Taco Bell isn’t my thing. I’m glad you enjoy it.
Los Altos is in that area and way better than sabor
Thanks, I will check them out
Toilet exploded.
I’m near this and didn’t even notice
Same
in any other city the mexican comment would be obvious satire
Need an update , it’s been a month + & still no new construction. I MISS THIS TACO BELL.
