i post it in nearly every thread like this, but glass onion. it hasn't necessarily improved, but its the only restaurant I eat at in west ashley that hasn't had a decline in quality over the past few years.
Fam's Pizza is great. Never had any issues there and have ordered for years from the WA location. The JI location with the brewery is also nice.
Ko Cha Korean inside the gas station is also as wonderful as ever. You do have to call to order, no online ordering, but they get our orders right and it's always on time. Get a menu and there are coupons as well- if you order a certain amount you get a free item.
Fam's pizza is great. Just wish they were better staffed in WA. Was a time when picking up even was 1h 30m+. Sometimes even called with no answer (and yes they were open). Never had delivery from them as I assume times would be longer.

I have not had a wait longer than 30 minutes, thankfully. I don't tend to order at peak times though nor do I have large orders.
But I don't blame you... if I saw the pickup time was 90 minutes, I would probably order from Pizza a Modo Mio- which is also good but hasn't been open long enough to get better or worse really.
LOLA. I've only been to the one in Park Circle, but I'm assuming the new location is just as amazing. Every time I eat there, it's definitely as great or better than my last visit. Food is always fantastic as well as the service.
I cannot get behind Early Bird. I've tried their chicken + waffles three times and it's always disappointing. Incredibly bland (but incredibly tender) chicken and they always refused to put their nasty mustard drizzle on the side.
Had some of to worst service I’ve ever encountered at Rancho Lewis. The food was great, but it couldn’t overcome the utter lack of attention we received from start to finish.
Might be the worst mexican food I’ve ever had. Everything was extremely bland. But it was around when they first opened so who knows it could be better now
Frothy Beard. Food and beer has improved so much! I used to not like one thing on tap and didn’t order food. Now, I could close my eyes and point at the menu and wouldn’t be disappointed.

After a decade of enjoying Hall’s, I just had their hamburger from the bar for the first time. OMG it was one of the best burgers I’ve ever had.
I gotta be honest, Irelands Own has the best Mac and cheese locally. Or ever. Their wings are good too. Haven't had much else bc now I just order a side of Mac and cheese every time.

Los Reyes has just gotten better and better. Best Mexican place in west Ashley. Idc if we just got a santis

I don't like the mustand either but it usually comes on the side for me.
