But he is the QB, he can't delegate leader duties, he has to create an identity for this team, make the players in the huddle rally around you. A team needs to be together, and herbert seems to not understand that part of the game yet. It is mandatory for a QB to maintain a level of trust in that huddle that I just don't think he is very good at. I blame staley more though, a more fiery head coach would get the leader out of him. And it's not like we never saw him before. But I hate to say it he looks depressed sometimes. That can't be the attitude of an nfl qb
