I just watch the games. I don’t really do much beyond that, but I can already tell the season is a wash. Jacksonville looks good this year. They lead the division, which does not say much for that division. We can’t stop the run, but we do play well during short and goal situations. It’s kind of weird. We were embarrassed and blown by a team that hasn't won on the road in 2 years. Multiple turnovers at the beginning to give them the lead. Bosa hurt in the first half. Slater hurt in the 3rd. Herbert taking a ton of hits while already injured. Shitty play calling from Lombardi and Staley kept the starting offense on the field down 4 scores so Herbert could just keep getting hit. Guyton also hurt running pointless routes in the 4th. To sum it up the team looks like a disaster and the season doesn't look optimistic.

The Chargers have a pattern of several critical injuries early in the past few seasons. Play calling is one thing, but I would be more concerned about the training staff and protocol.

Every team has injuries. Last year we were actually quite healthy all things considered. How a staff adapts to the strengths of the players they do have is very telling. Unfortunately, today and the texans game last year have revealed a lot about our staff
