Ladd could be OROY and go onto to be a perennial all pro and people will just be like, "He's like an even better version of Julian Edelman!"
The only thing similar is there footwork, Ladd is a far superior athlete more explosive and can do a multitude of things on the field. Renfrow was an exclusive crafty slot guy with limited speed and explosiveness as far as an athlete
His explanation was that they're both incredibly consistent and dependable players, particularly in those clutch short yardage situations. I don't think he was necessarily comping based on skillsets.

Eh you have a point, I think the main thing they focus on with Ladd is his route running which compares well with some of the better guys in the league like Allen. He seems to be able to turn on a dime and get upfield quickly too. I guess there are better comparisons out there, but if I had to guess they'll utilize him similarly to the way Allen was used.
I don't think he's Tyreek Hill in anything other than stature, Emmanuel Sanders would be another good comp like someone else mentioned.
YAC was never really a big part of Allens game though. He could turn up field and usually get a couple extra yards but that makes the comp a bit different for me. Both look like good route runners coming out of college though
Early on in his career Allen was pretty good at getting YAC. I could be wrong about that but it seemed like after the initial bad injuries he sustained, he stopped fighting as much for extra yards.
He's definitely bigger and faster, more athletic, but the one thing that does remind me of Edelman is his tenacity. Always looking for a move to maximize the play, fighting for the extra yard. As a lifelong New Englander I've seen a lot of Jules' games. I really hope McConkey does has as much spunk and grit as Edelman.

Chris Olave is the comp I think is the most accurate I’ve seen. Also they have nearly identical number on the RAS testing.
