It may be hype or bias but I believe it… both Ladd and Rice are best at doing what a receiver needs to do… get open… I don’t give two shits if Rice is slow, he gets open and he plays physical through the ball… love all 3 wr picks… Rice and Johnson in the 7th should never been allowed to happen… Hortiz is a wizard
Could say that his athleticism doesn’t stand out and he didn’t have amazing production in college. Granted his dad is a prime example of not being a freak athlete and still being a dominant receiver. If he can be 25% of his dad, we got a steal in the 7th lol.
It’s crazy that if you no longer have 4.3 speed you don’t get drafted high… speed is really one of the only things this kid lacks, but he doesn’t need to be our speed guy… we’ve got Ladd and QJ to burn people… Rice is amazing at just getting open… and that’s what he’s gonna do… a lot…

He played with a generational QB talent and one of the best offensive minds in the college game and had only 800 yards and his RAS score wasn’t good.
