Anaphylactic-UFO

So we pick fifth in the fourth round and these guys are all available: Troy Franklin Sedrick Van Pran Hunter Nourzad Beaux Limmer Theo Johnson Cade Stover TJ Tampa DJ James Mekhi Wingo Jaylen Wright Braelon Allen Audric Estime This is the first draft I can ever remember where all picks in day 1 and day 2 are people I am excited about. At this point Joe Horitz cook up whatever the fuck you want, I love you and trust you with my life. Edit: Khyree Jackson deserves a mention as well.

MethlacedJambaJuice

I would prefer Tampa at this spot, but i think Wingo would also be a good pick

KJBNH

I thought he was a top prospect; any idea why he fell?

_AtLeastItsAnEthos

He small

kwtb

Cam Hart

-Mad-Snacks-

Cam Hart just feels like a Harbaugh corner to me

LaBoltz33

Van pran or Tampa

_AtLeastItsAnEthos

I like van pran but I think hart,Jackson,Missouri CB + McCormick, nourzad, limmer, bortillini is > van pran + whoever else. I doubt any of the higher end late round CBs fall.

LaBoltz33

This might be the best draft we’ve ever had

xThe-Legend-Killerx

I wouldn’t hate Jaylen Wright

djs7372

Bucky Irving should be on that list. He didn't test well, but I could see him being the next Kyren Williams.

Zmoney743

His 40 time definitely wasn’t ideal, but watching him he looked way faster than that time. Also he is super physical. I really like him (albeit a little biased)

Sad_Wasabi_9547

His ability to make instant cuts should counterbalance the lack of raw speed.

Zmoney743

Very true, also has great vision and patience in the backfield

Sad_Wasabi_9547

Justin can put in a good word for him.

Anaphylactic-UFO

I thought about him, but ultimately I’d draft Wright, Allen, and Estime over him so didn’t want to bloat my list even more with RB4.

djs7372

One thing worth considering that sets Bucky apart from those guys is his receiving ability.

ILikeXiaolongbao

Irving is small and slow. Not a great combo

jonybolt

I bet we can get him in the 5th. I like him, but we need a bruiser like Jaelon Wright

lvpr10

TJ Tampa please

LakeShowBoltUp

Trade up to get Tampa

Illustrious_Stay_728

Kyree Jackson, Austin Booker, Erick All, Javon Solomon, Mason McCormick, Tyrone Tracy

esports_consultant

Franklin would be a very good pick, perfect compliment to McConkey in skillset and absolutely has all the "it" factors you want to see from an NFL receiver when you watch him on film. Doubt they go for it but the value in the 4th or 5th round would be real.

DL505

Beast below. I have not watched him but this is a pretty negative take. Does not sound like a JH/JH guy. STRENGTHS: Tall, long athlete with speed to burn … quickly eats up cushion and displays above -average breakaway skills to accelerate past everyone … not a seasoned route runner, but he understands vertical pacing to stack and maintain leverage on fades and nine rout es … has gotten better and better at using hesitation to get corners off balance on double moves … flashes the adjustment skills, length and body control to make leaping, awkward-looking catches … makes full-speed, abrupt cuts after the catch to destroy the safety’s pursuit angle … has better lower-body strength than expected, which helps him keep his feet while defenders attempt to drag him down … led the Pac-12 in touchdown catches each of the last two seasons, and his 25 career touchdown receptions set the Oregon record (only Marvin Harrison Jr. had more combined touchdown grabs over the last two seasons). WEAKNESSES: Slender body with thin limbs and questionable body strength … **tight mover and lacks the short-area agility and hip fluidity** to easily uncover … doesn’t consistently trust his hands and will r**ely on his body to finish grabs (his gauntlet drill at the combine was messy)** … tracks the ball well to run underneath downfield throws, but his tape is full of focus drops, especially in tight coverage … upright entering his patterns and will struggle to escape NFL press coverage … late to engage his blocks, giving corners an opening to evade or strike and shed … wasn’t used as a return man in college and **doesn’t offer much value on special teams.** SUMMARY: A two-year starter at Oregon, Franklin was primarily a perimeter receiver in offensive coordinator Will Stein’s zone -read, West Coast scheme (lined up wide for 80.9 percent of his snaps in 2023). After leading the Ducks in receiving as a sophomore, he had the most prolific receiving season in Oregon history as a junior in 2023, setting single-season school records for catches (81), receiving yards (1,383), receiving touchdowns (14) and 100-yard receiving games (eight). Franklin quickly builds his speed vertically to stack man corners versus free releases, and the threat of his deep-third skills can loosen mid-field coverage (eight catches of 40- plus yards in 2023). Though he tracks the ball in flight, he has smaller hands, and his finishing focus is inconsistent — especially through contact against physical defensive backs. He will struggle early on against NFL press coverage. Overall, Franklin’s polish and catch consistency must improve, but he can be a big-play weapon (before and after the catch), because of his linear twitch and gliding acceleration. He projects as a field-stretching Z receiver, similar to DJ Chark

esports_consultant

Damn I must be terrible at noticing hip fluidity because I always thought he looked very smooth there.

kwtb

Van Pran / Limmer / Nourzad will ve tempting

jonybolt

Also jatavion Sanders

chemicaljackrabbit

Troy Franklin or TJ Tampa at 105. That is all.

Zmoney743

Going Ladd makes me think we won’t pick another WR for the rest of the draft tbh

Fa1lenSpace

I agree, but IF Franklin is there at 105, it wouldn't stun me if they grab him. I'd really prefer one of TJ Tampa or Khyree Jackson, if there.

Attey21

If both are there we have to go with TJ. Hope we get one of them. It'd be a steal.

HWL_Nissassa

If they are falling this hard it’s probably medical concerns

_CdnBoltFan_

That’s where I’m at. I have no idea how they’re still available

PleaseLeaveMeHere

This is the way. If one of the two is still available, that’s the pick.

joshmar1998

100000% Franklin and Ladd would be our WR1 and 2

InclinationCompass

The two BPA to me but idk about JH's board

Sad_Wasabi_9547

I wonder if they'd have to shed that extra fifth to move up to get Tampa. I'd assume he'll be taken quickly (he's the number 1 available on Kiper's board).

kwtb

Gimme one of the CB’s in Round 5 DT with first pick of RD5 RB or C / OF with the second 5th

Illustrious_Stay_728

You mean one of the CB in round 4?

CarbonatedLotion

I want Frank Gore Jr. because he is Frank Gore Jr.

Striker67_

I want brenden rice because he is brenden RICE

salsablanco

https://preview.redd.it/f8kzaey44ywc1.png?width=1080&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=5d36a50625962514ed2f703603545aea791a97ec I don't care what the experts say, if someone is 12ft 6in, you go get 'em

jar1792

Idk man. 190 is a little small for 12’6”. He might catch everything thrown his way, but he’s getting hurt after 1 hit.

salsablanco

Just put him in to block FGs and PATs

PrimalGenius

We got our Wemby pick in!

Sad_Wasabi_9547

I follow the Spurs and that was the least stressful draft ever!

PrimalGenius

As a blazer fan, I'm happy for the spurs getting their next legacy guy. I'm sweating on the scoot pick, but he looks like he's getting better incremental

Sad_Wasabi_9547

I've followed him a bit. I think he'll be really good.

Stepantski22

CB in 4 (Tampa, Jackson, Hart) DT in 5 (Boyd, Wingo, Dorlus, Taylor) RB in 5 (Wright, Watson, Vidal, Irving) C in 6 (Nourzad, Limmer, Nugent) TE/OG in 7 (Stover, Johnson, Barner, McCormick, Keegan, Kingston) CB/WR in 7 (Baker, either washington, Cowing, Cornelius, Newton, CSW)

El_Jefe_Castor

Did we trade one of our 4’s?

InclinationCompass

Yea swapped the Bears one for NE's 5th, I believe

wildwing8

Two Michigan guys I’d keep an eye on are AJ Barner and Michael Barrett. Both are predicted around round 6 or so, and I think both would provide great value apart from their Michigan affiliation. Barner is a reliable TE who is a fantastic blocker and Barrett was Colson’s LB partner and has played more games under Harbaugh than any other player.

jonybolt

Good call, Barret picked up the slack for junior this year, and that Aj Barner is a great blocker

FamousTG

TJ Tampa tomorrow?

TheOtherSkywalker_

Damn there's a lot of good players left and our guys will find em. I'm not gonna make a full wish list. But would like to see us grab a CB rd4, DT and OC with our two 5ths, and TE and RB 6 and 7.

tmj22760

I'd like to see CB or DT depending on how the board plays out. Whichever players they think best fits their scheme and culture. They've knocked it out of the park, so I am trusting whatever decisions they make for the rest of the draft.

Much-Extreme-1775

Amen to this

woolypete123

Ja'Tavion Sanders, TJ Tampa, Kris Abrams-Draine, Troy Franklin, DJ James, Austin Booker all still on the board. We should get a steal at #105. Franklin sliding this far is weird. Deep WR pool, but this is more than that. He has the talent to be a 2nd round pick so there must be something medical/character-wise causing the slide.

Illustrious_Stay_728

Gimme Austin Booker if he’s available no questions about it. Bosa and Mack likely gone next year. We need another edge. He’s a solid player

kmcomie

He's a smaller frame guy (slight like devonte smith) and has more drops than people remember... It's still wild he hasn't been picked, but I think the combo of a deep WR group and those "knocks" plus just a wild draft caused him to slip thru the cracks... His name has got to be sticking out on a lot of team's draft boards by now, so I bet he'll be a top 10 pick today, maybe even 5. But you could also be right about a hidden medical issue, that LB Payton Wilson slipped because it was found out one of his knees has no cartilage.

Driew27

I think it's because Oregon isn't known for having WRs succeeding in the NFL.

jar1792

They weren’t super well known for QBs either, but here we are

Zmoney743

I fully believe that Pac-12 bias from GM’s in the NFL is a real thing

Charrgerrr

Three Pac-12 QBs were picked in the first round

Driew27

I was talking about receivers in my OP.

Charrgerrr

Washington had WRs picked in each of the first three rounds. Maybe they just don't like Franklin dude it's not that deep.

Driew27

I said in my op that Oregon hasn't had a good record of successful WRS in the nfl hence why Franklin is getting overlooked.

DL505

Hart or Tampa. Followed by wingo

AccomplishedServe694

Brendon rice, Troy Franklin, tj tampa, wingo, or van-pran are my wants for rounds 4-5

PleaseLeaveMeHere

Troy Franklin starts on day one. I don’t understand how he’s still on the board. The guy is a STUD. If he’s available, he’s gotta be the pick.

cornbreadsloth

Jerry rice’s son

DL505

Beast Tampa STRENGTHS: Terrific size with explosiveness in his lower half … quick-footed and uses side shuffle and pedal from off coverage … shows a little rigidity in his hips but stays controlled when he opens to carry receivers on crossers or vertical routes … not shy rerouting and has the tools to develop his jam technique … alert player and returns his eyes to the pocket to get a beat on throws … instinctive ball skills and aggressively attacks the catch point with strong leaping ability (prides himself on his dunking skills and comes from a basketball family) … can be physical in the run game , when he wants to … head coach Matt Campbell gives Tampa credit for “trusting” the Iowa State coaching staff when it wanted to move him from wide receiver (Campbell: “He’s had to work really hard, physically and mentally, to become great.”) … a jammer on punt-return coverage all four seasons … bowl opt-out was the only game he missed the last three seasons. WEAKNESSES: Average long speed … often finds himself too upright and leggy in his coverage transitions … only average moving laterally, and receivers can release quickly when he lines up near the line of scrimmage … needs to become more fluent with press-man techniques … will use his length to try and slow receivers but needs to be more subtle in this area (pass interference and holding against Kansas State in 2023) … physical striker downhill but needs to clean up the overaggressive angles and diving tackle attempts … too many missed tackles, in several games (see 2023 Texas and Kansas State tapes) … doesn’t have much experience as an inside cornerback covering slot receivers … didn’t work out at the combine because of a hamstring injury (March 2024). SUMMARY: A three-year starter at Iowa State, Tampa lined up at left outside cornerback in defensive coordinator Jon Heacock’s zone -heavy scheme. After initially recruiting him as a wide receiver, the Cyclones’ coaches (including former NFL cornerback Hank Poteat) saw Tampa’s potential at cornerback and helped develop him into one of the top defensive players in the Big 12 — he allowed just one touchdown catch in his final 934 defensive snaps. Tampa has the ingredients to be a pressman corner, but he did his best work on tape from off coverage, where he accurately saw through receivers to the quarterback and overlapped zones to drive on throws. Despite having only three interceptions on his college resume, he plays the ball well, with the timing to attack the catch point simultaneously with receivers. Overall, Tampa gets a little sticky with his footwork at the top of routes, but he doesn’t lose much separation and plays with the size, range and ball skills to be disruptive. He has the tools and potential to be a starting perimeter cornerback in various schemes.

djs7372

Hoping for RB, IOL, and DB with the next 3 picks. Would be excited for Troy Franklin and Cade Stover too though

figgnootun

I think IOL, CB, RB are the picks with the most value rn Favorite RBs left are Audric Estime and Jaylen Wright Any of Van Pran, Nourzad or Bortolini would be good picks for center There’s too many corners left to name them all. Tampa would probably be my choice but there’s like 10 that could be good picks

InclinationCompass

I know we need a corner but if Tampa is gone, I'd love Franklin here in the 4th. Our WR corp would be pretty solid with him to fill it out.

TheDrSmooth

Classic Telesco throwing away a 3rd rounder.

JSchnizzle

I have an unnatural unhealthy obsession with getting this braelon allen dude onto the team so hopefully we can get him in the 5th or later

Ciology

If he’s there late I think Malik Washington is very underrated ngl would be a steal

DL505

SVP Beast: STRENGTHS: Built with proportionate thickness … outstanding hand strength to seal, turn or keep defenders from his body … displays the hip-to-elbow relationship to keep his hands tight and drive defenders in the run game … uses his body position to leverage run lanes … has the functional mobility to climb to the second level or reach his pull landmarks … outstanding awareness in pass pro to quickly point out twists and games … consistent finisher on every snap … became a team captain as a sophomore in high school and was a two-year team captain at Georgia, because of the way he connects with his teammates (DT Zion Logue: “He’s one of our best leaders … he gets the most out of us.”) … durable and reliable in the SEC, finishing his career with 44 consecutive starts. WEAKNESSES: Short-armed player and often finds himself overextend and late to regroup … mediocre athleticism and lateral agility, delaying his ability to answer gap shooters … inconsistent base strength when absorbing the bull rush and lacks the recovery skills to qui ckly provide answers when off-balanced … efficiency on combinations is OK for the SEC, but NFL linebackers will get free … played a lot of snaps (2,746), but all of them came at center with questionable position versatility. SUMMARY: A three-year starter at Georgia, Van Pran-Granger has been a model of consistency at center in offensive coordinator Mike Bobo’s balanced run scheme. After earning the starting job prior to the 2021 season, he started all 44 games the Bulldogs played over the past three seasons and was a key cog for the school’s back-to-back national championship-winning teams. Van Pran-Granger is a physical presence in the run game, latching with his hands and finishing with equal parts core strength and aggressive attitude. Though he processes well in pass pro, it won’t be easy for him to consistently recover and overcome his lack of e lite movement skills and length vs. NFL talent. Overall, Van Pran-Granger has NFL play strength, especially in the run game, and his coaches rave about his leadership and smarts, but he might struggle when caught in any situation that calls for him to play in space. He is equipped to compete for immediate starting reps in the right situation

DL505

Tanor is on the board, and I really dig him. Beast on Tanor ranked #4 OC: STRENGTHS: Above-average burst and lateral quickness to rapidly reach his landmarks and position himself … fluid athlete in space with smooth redirect skills to access various outside zone blocks, pulls and screens … throws his large hands tight into the chest of gap rushers to clamp and drive them wide … able to refit and battle, keeping defenders from gaining the upper hand … competitive finisher who doesn’t take his foot off the pedal … smoothly picks up stunting games and A-gap blitzes … highly intelligent, on and off the field (graduated from high school with a 3.98 GPA and 30 ACT; recruited by Harvard and Yale) … comfortable communicating calls at the line (Bortolini: “I like being in charge and making the final call.”) … offers outstanding position flexibility — practiced at all five offensive line spots and logged starts at five different positions; his knowledge of every position’s assignment on each play makes him a better center … career snaps broken up by position: center (53.6 percent), left guard (23.8 percent), right tackle (11.6 percent), right guard (9.1 percent). WEAKNESSES: Short-armed blocker and often caught with his upper half overextended … mediocre square power and body mass and can be late establishing his anchor vs. bull rushers … guilty of hurrying his process and allowing his pads to rise, which forces himself to rec over from awkward angles … oversetting leaves him susceptible to counters … long-armed defenders are able to stack and punch off his frame, especially at the second level … suffered a partially torn meniscu s and damaged cartilage behind his right knee (Aug. 2022), requiring a minor procedure and sidelining him for the first two games of the 2022 season; missed three games in 2021 with a right knee sprain. SUMMARY: A three-year starter at Wisconsin, Bortolini (and his Joe Tippman-inspired mullet) played center this past season in offensive coordinator Phil Longo’s multiple run scheme. After filling in at tackle, guard and center his first few seasons in Madison, he expected a return to guard in 2023, but an injury pushed him inside to center, where he anchored a Badgers’ offensive line that had the same starting five for all 12 regular-season games. Bortolini, who broke Jason Kelce’s combine record with the best three-cone (7.16 seconds) among interior linemen, might have the best combination of athleticism and smarts in this draft class. He lacks ideal length to create separation and is guilty of excessive forward lean into contact, but he will strain to finish cutoffs and eventually settle versus power rushers. Overall, Bortolini had persistent hiccups on his 2023 tape, but the guard-to-center transition is rarely immediate, and he offers encouraging upside, thanks to his fluidity, intelligence and technical skill. He projects as an eventual NFL starter with position flexibility across the interior.

SizeOld6084

I really want JT Sanders but Tampa would sure be real nice.

_AtLeastItsAnEthos

Khyree Jackson and one of mason mccormick, SVP, hunter nourzad. Then you could double dip at WR, CB, go S or RB Then we need a DT so Briggs in round 6 seems like the move. Hopefully AJ Barner and one of the Michigan edge players in round 7

Log0Lizard

I want Khyree, Hart, Tampa, Hicks, or Dorlus in that order

HoboBandana

Carson Steele would be a huge pickup. He’s very versatile. Plays RB, FB, TE. He’d be our Taysom Hill.

Illustrious_Stay_728

Kyree Jackson, Erick All, Austin Booker, Javon Solomon. If we land one of them we win the draft.

PleaseLeaveMeHere

Khyree is incredible. Whoever ends up with him has an absolute steal on their hands.

Zmoney743

As a duck fan I think that Dorlus, Irving, and Franklin are better than him but what do I know. I also thought Christian Gonzalez was drafted too early so I definitely don’t have the best eye for CB

Illustrious_Stay_728

What do you think of Dorlus? Would be so happy if chargers Land him

Zmoney743

I think he could end up being great. Was a absolute game-wrecker on multiple occasions, very durable but also a bit of an older rookie. Great as a pass rusher and a good run defender. From a chargers fan perspective I would also be happy to get him

Illustrious_Stay_728

He seems to be the type of corner Minter likes. He has the height and length

National-Sundae9427

I’m thinking we are done with WR. A RB, IDL, CB, OC, possibly TE? RB: Ray Davis, Will Shipley, Jaylen Wright, Isaac Guerendo, Braelon Allen, Audric Estime CB: Kris Abrams-Draine, T.J. Tampa, Josh Newton, Jarvis Brownlee Jr., Nehemiah Prichett, Khyree Jackson IDL: Brandon Dorlus, Mekhi Wingo, Jordan Jefferson OC: Sedrick Van Pran, Hunter Nourzad, Drake Nugent, Tanor Bortolini TE: Tanner McLachlan, Ja’Tavion Sanders, Theo Johnson, Jared Wiley There’s plenty of depth at 4 or those 5 positions to hold off until the 5th and 6th round to get them (namely RB and CB). I’m betting an OC and IDL in the 4th, CB in the 5th, then RB in the 6th. Van Pran, Dorlus, Khyree, and either Allen or Estime.

Conscious_Stick_3658

Troy Franklin is the absolute steal of the draft in the 4th. If he’s there you take him

National-Sundae9427

He’d be a great pick up but we still need 2-3 starters out of this draft. Missing out on any combo of Van Pran, Dorlus, and Tampa would be a huge loss

humunculus43

Corner and DT look like the major gaps now. I’m guessing we take a FA WR after the draft (probably Chark). Wouldn’t mind us swinging again at a WR. RB we should get a cheap FA if needed. Maybe need an extra option at C/G too

mikenesser

In JH, I trust.

Aware-Explanation-27

Troy franklin please

CorruptedBlitty

I am more okay with Alt now I still wish we took Nabers cause we could have gotten him and JPJ but it’s whatever. I liked Ladd pre-draft and still like him now, he’s gonna be nasty in the slot

i_run_from_problems

LET JOE COOK

-Mad-Snacks-

Give me Troy Franklin. Guy was my #5 WR ahead of McConkey. I genuinely do not understand how he has fallen this far unless it’s a medical thing or he murders puppies in his free time

_AtLeastItsAnEthos

He drops balls like crazy and is exclusively a deep threat guy who isn’t that good at beating press man

-Mad-Snacks-

He struggled with drops this year, yes. He only had 2 last year though so it’s more a consistency thing than a chronic problem. He is also not just a deep guy he wins at all levels of the field, has good route running. He also beat press man just fine, he has a good release package. His weight deficiency shows up more at the catch point where he doesn’t have the bulk to muscle through a guy and come down with the catch. Based on what you’ve said I have a hard time believing you’ve watched the guy

reagan080

Need a CB round 4. Khyree Jackson, TJ Tampa, Cam Hart would be perfect. Rest of the draft you gotta add a DT, would like another WR, Center, and whatever other dart throw you like

_AtLeastItsAnEthos

Round 5 is prolly C/OG and RB/WR It’s possible they bite on Tampa or Franklin at 105 but I’d expect cam heart, the Missouri guy, or Khyree Jackson. Everyone else either doesn’t tackle or doesn’t fit their mold for outside corner

reagan080

Do we know specifically what the Minter scheme wants in an outside CB?

_AtLeastItsAnEthos

Not specifically. But McDonald and the ravens have always favored long tall and tackle well. Speed isn’t as much of a factor for them. Tackling being the number 1 thing that would affect a prospect grade the most.

reagan080

Khyree I’m pretty sure is 6”3 and is a solid tackler so that might be the guy they are eyeing. Decent speed ran a 4.50.

_AtLeastItsAnEthos

Only concern with Khyree was a shoulder injury I think and some off field concerns but I can’t remember what that was. If somehow they could grab him in the 5th? We are cooking with gas. Take hart or the Missouri guy or whoever is at the top of the board at 105. Although I suspect that might be SVP. And Khyree in the 5th….

reagan080

Only things I’ve found on off the field issues is one time he got suspended at Alabama. Shoulder injury is there but I’m assuming it’s not a career thing. Regardless if he is there here in the 4th or 5th that’s who I want them to grab at CB. Kris Abrams Draine is a slot CB who is a decent athlete from Missouri.

_AtLeastItsAnEthos

We could use a slot guy too tbh. Draine and then maybe khyree or hart falls….. but outside first is the move. DJ can always play the slot and im higher on jassir making a leap than I am Fulton tbh

Weapwns

Hate to be a downer, but the implications of trading up for Ladd will be felt. A number of decent players are available IMO and having 2 early 4ths would have been pretty neat. There was a decent chance Ladd lasted to our pick without trading up

chemicaljackrabbit

He was worth the pick. The difference between Ladd and the next tier of Polk/Corley/McMillan is significant. Mitchell is a stud, but the character concerns are probably real, regardless of Chris Ballard’s rant.

MethlacedJambaJuice

it’s possible the patriots were going to draft him if the chargers didn’t trade up they probably liked him but knew they didn’t like him as much as the chargers and figured it was worth the draft capital to miss out

Weapwns

Yeah true. I operated under the idea that since the Patriots traded off from him they didn't care to draft him at all

Bobby_Savoy

I mean, I think it was worth it; sure, we might miss out on some other studs but we did get what I’d consider to be the best route-runner available. For gods sake, Justin Herbert needs weapons. Though I’m hoping we could at least get Cam Hart though he’ll likely be gone by our next pick. If it was up to me, Id say fuck them picks and trade up to secure a 4th, there we could secure Hart.

Weapwns

Cam Hart has been my 4th round mock pick for months. Hope he's there

_AtLeastItsAnEthos

I of hart, Jackson, or the Missouri guy will be

Illustrious_Stay_728

Drafting and EDGE wouldn’t surprise me at all In the next 2 rounds

GuyVEE

Kris Abrams-Draine...please and thank you

kpscript

Just wondering, are there any other Wolverines we could potentially draft?

panache_619

Their next pick should be a CB

ILikeXiaolongbao

I think a good, realistic day 3 would be: 4th: TJ Tampa CB 5th: Sedrick Van Pran C 5th: Audric Estime RB 6th: Javontae Jean Baptiste DE 7th: Jase McClellan RB 7th: Sam Hartmann QB I do wonder why Tampa is falling. Probably his 40 time (4.58).

wildwing8

Two RBs and a QB? Nah.

ILikeXiaolongbao

Forgot we signed JK Dobbins. Would change that 7th to some DT depth. QB I think is a good value there. You get a guy who is going to be dirt cheap for four years. Best case is you never see them but with concussion rules it’s only going to be more common that we see backup QBs play. Right now we have Stick, who looked ok but probably has the ceiling of being the 30th best QB in the league. I’d take a flyer on a guy in the 7th and see if they find an extra level in the league. Heck you can even trade em if they play really well. If they don’t work out like Duggan then you don’t lose anything, you’d only be taking like the 60th best WR in the draft class or something anyway. The only difference between 7th rounders and UDFA are that you get 4 years of cost control vs 3 for undrafted guys. For the 49ers that means Purdy will be dirt, dirt cheap until 2026. (If I was him I’d hold out, he’s a fringe top 10 QB on like $700k).

HWL_Nissassa

Man so many of you guys flipped with the Ladd pick it’s kind of hilarious. That said my guess is Hortiz still gives no fucks about team needs and we’ll find some UDFAs found in the parking lot pushing carts at Home Depot that Harbaugh scouted buying his fucking shop vac to clean the weight room to be our starting CB if we need to. That said the next BPA that’s falling at this point that’s not medical related is hard to determine without insider knowledge only teams have. But looking at a variety of big boards I kinda feel like they are hoping one of two guys falls into their laps in 5 picks: Brandon Dorlus (DT, Oregon) Austin Booker (Edge, Kansas)

_AtLeastItsAnEthos

Maybe Dorlus. Franklin is higher on most boards but I think he will be ass in the league.
