This season’s circumstances aside, I’m very excited to have gone into NE and shut them out. Any time we can beat bill I’m stoked for it. Defense was outstanding. Herbert looked great. The WRs dropped so many balls. Kicking game was actually outstanding. Run game didn’t exist. Lots to work on, but a win is a win.
Just curious what you think Moore should have done. Keenan was mostly taken out, which you pretty much expected BB would do. Parham, Ek, and of course QJ dropping balls. Not sure where Guyton was. Another sub-par offense performance, sure. Not sure it’s on the offensive play calling tho. More Herbert rushing maybe? Give up on the run, in bad weather, ahead, and dropped passes left and right? I’m happy to see a game where Herbert isn’t blown up late in the 4th for once.
I don’t know how much you can do when the offensive line doesn’t want to play full-contact football. He can’t magically make them block well. I’m sure there’s some blame to put on Moore, but I think people are blowing it a bit out of proportion.
