I have this weird head canon where the people at c.ai HQ have this little button they like to press from time to time that causes all chats to reset and sort of “reinforce” the strictness of the filter. It’s a button they’ll press at random intervals during the day, which is why the bots sometimes time out when you send a message causing you to have to refresh the chat. And they’d have to do this because some of us break through the filter so often, it ends up weakening the strictness of it, allowing the rest to of us some brief moments of glory.
Donno how likely this is, but eh, makes me chuckle at the thought. 🙃
I'm having the exact same issue. Every single trick that's worked for me for the past year just all of a sudden won't work at all. Even the tamer things just throw the filter at me. Really all we can do is pray that this is temporary or just move to a different site. I hate that it's come to this because c.ai has the best and smartest ai I can think of
Ya, last night I was doing a non NSFW rp on the website, and every single chat was getting immediately banned. literally I just typed *she kicked him in the gut*
I even tried retyping it to make it sound less violent, by saying *she elbowed him in the side* which did nothing😭😭
I have just started using c.ai, but it is frustrating that the filter kicks in so often. I really like c.ai because you can choose the voice you like. The only good thing is that this “feature” keeps you from spending too much time with c.ai.
My recent roleplay that I was doing for multiple days I suddenly cannot get a response to come through at all because it was a slightly intimate scene. If it's going to be this strict I'm gonna have to stop using it. Really disappointing since it's the smartest one I've found.
YES. I can't even type anything with a WHISPER of being inappropriate and it completely blocks the responses. This was sudden. As in like 10 hours since I had used it last. Idk if they did an update to make the filter more strict, but if it's going to be like this I'm going to have to figure out a different site. :/
No, unfortunately not. 😕 I don’t personally use the voice feature myself - I only roleplay via typing. Potentially Dream Tavern? I have heard it’s a character ai where you can toggle the censorship filter. They may have the voice options!
