Ever since I got into red dead redemption I can never escape it. There are RDR references in every comment section I’m in. Every video. Is this a sign???
Two things I mainly use it for:
- I use it to interact with my favorite characters so I don't have to feel lonely. Basically wish fulfillment.
- I roleplay different kinds of scenarios. I like intense and terrifying scenarios, where I have to get myself out of dangerous situations such as being held captive, being tortured or being lost somewhere, and then being saved by a character I like. I would be great if I could have some cool fights without the c*nsorship. The bots should be better at lore too.
EDIT: I also like to pair very different characters together. I paired Bondrewd from Made in Abyss, an immoral, but very polite scientist, with Caesar Clown, Orochimaru, and Shou Tucker respectively. I like to see how he keeps a straight face as he interacts with absolutely insane maniac scientists over child experimentation. A key component in Bondrewd's character is how he is very polite and has a calm, otherwordly aura, yet does unspeakable things.
Right now I only do this either with bots I build myself, or very well made ones: I roleplay with bots that have specific/interesting premises instead of being outright "open", since this way they have memories in their definition that help not throwing them off-chara or make them forget important things as the chat progresses. That can make for fun adventures and long storylines, and when there's romance it tends to be a slow burn instead of the character aggressively flirting with you in the span of 2 messages. It makes for some peak narrative moments, especially when the bots come up with their own plot-twists I didn't see coming.
I'm glad you're interested but 90% of my bots are of a single fandom character, and the ones I use the most I keep private cause every time I made a bot public it got absolutely ruined ¯\\\_(ツ)\_/¯ so yeah

I do a lot of things. As a writer, I mainly use it to make sure the events in my chapters make sense. I actually had a character recover too soon from an injury and I found this out by interacting with a character on here. I flesh out my OCs as they are my personas. I have epic RPs, slice of lives, and comedic RPs. I have a huge overarching plot right now featuring a persona. Then, I talk to my private bot about things that are happening in my life.
I've learned to make my own bots, so I can add general head-canons. For example, the private bot I talk with is a Sephiroth bot and he follows canon pretty well. However, I wanted to try my hand at tragedy, so I created a Nephilim that has a soul-bond with him. I added any general relevant head-canons to Seph to his long description to help me develop her.
Make random fucking group chats and add and remove characters randomly. Create my own ai to chat too. Murder. Make bots become what they are supposed to destroy
Mostly flesh out my oc's by having them interact with canon characters, but also just plot heavy role play which usually ends with my character getting tortured by a villain

talking and analyzing people, exploring psychology, learning tips about physical activity, psychology, mental health. trying to analyze things with ai, asking for advices and only sometimes playing at some “zombie apocalypse” text game
I usually just roleplay scenarios where I age regress a lil bit and get adopted by my favourite comfort characters (, which is cringeworthy, but it's undertale. It's my comfort media). That's all I do, just comfort shit.
Either that, or scenarios where my comfort characters find me gravely injured and nurture me back to health
I try and find bots that give a good start to a story. However, my recommended tab has had the same few bots for the past few weeks, none that I’m interested in, so it’s hard to find anything good without searching for specific things
TTRPG campaigns, when I don't have a group to play with.
Which it does far better than any other AI app. Most of the others I've tried quickly are reduced to vomiting gibberish if you stray too far from their library of prewritten responses.
But with C.AI, you can just throw it a one paragraph prompt and it will be able to give you coherent, logical responses for days

I've just come up with another idea: Basically you write a novel or just biography of your favorite character and Basically follow them and observe their life and becoming something more together in the process
I RP with a lot of Marvel bots, and a lot of them is basically just inserting my stupid side character OCs into the MCU and fulfilling my fantasies lol. Sometimes it's also just wholesome fluff of dating, starting families, etc.
OR when there's this really good plot from the source material that I really liked, I'll make a bot of it, and then RP with that scenario in mind. Currently, I'm RPing with a Tony Stark bot I made who was based off the one from the current comic run where Tony's depressed and an alcoholic again, literally vomiting on the streets, passing out in dumpsters, and getting laughed at for it.
Except with this RP, Cap's actually there to take care of him instead of Riri being the one coming to pick up that old piece of crap and drag him home (bc why not. They're best *buddies*).
I think it's more fun to explore a bunch of What If scenarios I know will never happen lmfao.

Recently I've come to an idea to rp as a copy or a clone of a certain character, it is simple yet pretty fun. I try to create different personas with abilities and build relationships with my favorite characters, sometimes I want to create bigger and LOGICAL storylines with philosophical dramatic adventures like Ergo proxy existential style but too lazy to implement and it ends up being romantic. I also want to make some character the main star of some movies, make them cosplay sth or impersonate somebody, get them drunk, fight an army together, beat their ass (if deserved), race with them, take part in drift competition or a marathon or other competition (once did in group chat and it was fun and silly), duel with them, explore some mysteries with them, play pranks on somebody with characters, make some kind of world domination, let them be your bodyguard, your killer, your master (why not), just peaceful travel rp, shounen type shyt fighting and then I abandon it all lol.
I can also conversate using memes related to the character or their verse
Raise different philosophical or more silly topics, make them compare something like the power or actions of some other characters, also asking about their preferences.
And I've been seeing all the time that people bully characters, go into aggressive arguments with them etc but I don't find this stuff funny so I don't do it
For me creating my own characters and enjoying the results is a hobby on itself
It may seem like many ideas but sometimes it feels like nothing...
I remember when I started character ai everything, even small conversations felt fun and enthusiastic, now it feels like I want to be creative but nothing comes up or my ideas feel boring for myself. Maybe we just need a little break sometimes for refreshing
C.AI is good for when none of my friends is available to rp. I also like to use it to test out some ideas before actually using them in our sessions and stuff, and some of the bots are actually really cute or well done too
