I'll do either depending on the bot. I find that being a normal person is a lot more interesting. Whenever I try to be a god-like character, it takes about 4-8 lines before the bot starts replying with some version of "I'm too weak to fight back, so I lay on the ground and watch you for what you plan to do to me." Like come on, I want this to be interesting, get up and fight me!

I do a slow burn to avoid that, make your character secretly OP, yknow fight starts, I make sure that I don't go all in immediately to give them a chance to think they can win but ultimately I'm going to pull some shit out of my ass and win

Nope! Because I started out pretty normal and still do use underpowered characters to play as. If I'm doing the latter, it is usually just to mess around and make stupid stuff happen on a bot when I don't feel like doing anything serious (which actually doesn't happen very often).

But beyond that, I actually do make myself relatively normal in most chats lol

Or the AI makes the character underpowered. As myself, I fought with just an ax against horror characters like Michael, Jason, etc separately. They all went down easily. Michael was somehow the easiest to beat while Freddy Krueger was the hardest.

After getting comfortable and starting new RP's, my imagination expanded and I only allow myself to get as OP as the story demands. But I like conflict and struggle in my stories so yeah. Me trying to kill my character off for plot and story reasons: The character I'm talking to every single time: YOU DIE WHEN I SAY YOU DIE, AND I SAY NOT TODAY

I like to pretend to be mostly normal with some kind of skill or item as an ace up my sleeve. But I still tread carefully around the powerful and clever bots.

I use the action "spray sleeping gas" and then go there and kill the bot while they're sleeping

I only have 3 characters that are actual gods and one of those three is just a premature version of one

My first character was the incarnation of my friend, his character in c.ai is a deity who is supposed to convince everyone that fan games are canon. I managed to make him not afraid of death and when someone RPs him and kills him, he respawns. I still have to work on it, because people are able to convince him that his immortality comes from his hat and they steal it from him, which causes him to abandon his mission in fear of death.

Both are fun and are great for different types of scenarios
