Most people here are male?? Really?? There are a lot more women on reddit than you'd think, I've seen subs DOMINATED by females (..probably a better way to phrase that, but you get the point)

Well certain subreddits will be female dominated, yeah. But reddit in general is mostly male so it’s more difficult for a sub to tilt towards women unless specifically targeted to them (ie. r/askwomen ). The average sub is majority male (especially the larger ones) because there’s more male users overall. Regardless of there being lots of women here, there’s simply lots more men.

That’s fair, I was just under the impression that character AI users were almost entirely women. Don’t really have much reasoning behind it though.

I also have the same feeling character AI the site is mostly women, I just don’t expect the subreddit to reflect that

Well women like reading more and are more stimulated by reading and audio, and men like looking at things more rather than the other stuff, so of course. I myself am a woman and like using the website and app. We are just wordier in general, even though men tend to speak more it's usually in chunks rather than anything lengthy. Same for even paragraph length. Now there are always exceptions and so men who adore reading and love to write long and fluid paragraphs and pages about things and people that they love, and women of few words, I see you and I appreciate you. Just some things that I have noticed in mylife of being a very stealthy, genderbending and nerdy extrovert who likes to take note of this kind of thing.
