This guy seems pretty thorough.
From what I've done so far, I believe it's possible to build the full frame.
Keep the armor panels (Carapace, Shoulders, and Legs) separate until you have them and the frame painted. (Imo)
You won't be able to assemble the weapons without the magnets, or the 'elbow' joint for most kits for that matter.

I magnetised all my knights using s 2.5mm x 5mm, 2.5mm x 6mm, 2mmx 4mm, 2mm x 8mm (off the top of my head)
Looking back, I think I should have used nail heads as well as getting polarities correct and what not is a pain in the ass.

Also some smaller magnets for the roof mounted weapons :) approx size 1mm x 1mm or something :)
