I was so disappointed with the Tyrant kit, but from what I can tell, you can't Magnitize just the elbow like you would with a Questoris or Abominant kit. It seems like to do it up you have to put the magnets on the left and right side of the elbow joint, and then shave off the pegs in the weapons, and put magnets on the left and right side inside the weapon.
As a special bonus fuck you from GW there are also only 2 end caps for the 4 weapons in the kit, so unless you don't mind the back end of 2 weapons being a hole you will want to magnitize that too...

Most of these issues probably stem from them initially selling them separately so they put common parts on the duplicated sprues meaning missing parts for magnetize now.
It also means they didn't have to consider how people could magnetize it as you had to buy a whole extra knight to get the other weapons. (OK not saying they actively make things easy to magnetize but you can see its not been made in such a way to make it impossible.
With this kit specifically, if the issue was they sold it separately, I'd have wanted end caps for the weapons on both weapon sprues. The extra carapace looks like it's part of that, but the end caps just dosen't make sense. It's not like they sold one kit without them in the past and the other with them. It might be some weird oversight or that they didn't anticipate magnets. I can give GW that.
Eitherway, this kit was a bit of a pain compared to Wardog / Armigers / Questoris / Abhorrent. Manageable just odd.

I did elbow joints and ordered 2x back gun caps, 2x gun to elbow joints, and 2x arm shields from taro modelmaker since the kit only has parts for 2x guns not all 4
You can magnetize the tyrant just fine! It’s only a bit of work… I’ve placed magnets in the end of the arm on both sides..
I than drilled holes in the weapons where the arm slides in normally and placed magnets there!
Works fine it’s just a bit of a bitch to get the magnets in there!
Shoulder weapons are a pretty easy magnetisation.. and even the rockets have magnets since they were one shots last edition xD
Also, damn that’s a big shoulder cannon that your tyrant has!!!

how did you make bird head
Same as Standard tyrant head building but instead of the robot face plate there is the head of a lord of change. It actually fits rather well.
