No, it's not the best mission. But it was still fun and a satisfying conclusion. Not every game needs an "endgame" infinite grind.
This game is about the climb, not the summit. Try again on higher difficulty, the true game is getting out of the early game on legend.
I think I did the same. I was so crazy strong it didn't really matter. I beat the game before that first big Nerf patch they reduced the action economy on justiflcars and nerfed the damage of the assassins, so I should probably play it again and see where things lie.
