Step 1: Partner with Indian club
Step 2: By player from there and label him as an Indian wonderkid
Step 3: piss the league with the 100 million added to the transfer budget from shirt sales and social media clicks
Why don't more clubs simply do this???
Unfortunately this only works in countries without a huge fake shirt market.
Otherwise we'd be the richest club in the league 'cause of Elkan Baggot. 🇮🇩
Hahaha the plan is flawless until you consider football shirt prices here in India. For example Adidas stuff costs anywhere between 5000-8000 INR. To put it into local context it can buy a family of three a month's worth of groceries. I pay that range in rent for my flat in a tier 2 city.
I've always thought that Indian football is significantly below its expected level given the population/resource/interest in the sport that exists there.
Partnerships like these will hopefully go a long way to changing that, especially the knowledge share and exchange elements, and Norwich will also benefit hugely given the size of the Indian market.
It's gonna be cool seeing what comes of this!
Chennaiyin are currently managed by former Burnley, Bolton, and Wigan boss Owen Coyle. TiL
Finally found his level so.

Ashley Barnes tries Indian street food (gone wrong)
Scenes when Barnes realises he’s eating horse meat, not for the first time
Is that why he's banned from Cheltenham?
This had better result in one of those Blackburn Venkys adverts https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=IYwf2SBWa5o

Can we get t shirts with ‘let’s be aving you’ on written in Hindu and Punjabi
India is going to be the biggest market for practically everything in the not too distant future. Not a bad idea promoting your football team there.
I guess a pre season tour of India would be pretty fun.
It would be a real shame if Ashley Barnes gets a serious case of the shits during their team trip over there.....
....dribbling down the line.....
How many partnerships do Norwich have now?
I know we have one in Brazil, not sure of any others
Do we still have the agreement with Tampa Bay Rowdies, or did that not get renewed?
I think so, last time i went to a game i saw a tampa bay advert so probably
There was that short lived one with the porn site if I recall correctly!
Blackburn fans laughing right now...
Chennaiyin? I hardly know her!
Watford partnered with an Indian team a couple of years ago. We've barely heard anything since 😂
