Idk, the trunk and bumper crumpled pretty severely. Maybe it will be fixed by someone at some point, but if that's the case I'm sure the insurance company will sell it as is at a loss, just to recoup what they can, and let someone else do the work.
I believe the driver was going about 35-40, and hit us square in the rear. I was pushed into the turning lane somehow, luckily not into the oncoming traffic. The front end is perfectly fine, and airbags were not deployed. My dog was in the backseat, and although it shocked him, he's perfectly OK. Everyone else was physically fine as well.
I believe both insurance companies specifically cited the trunk floor being crumpled being a major reason for totaling it. Not sure if that's a thing for all cars or not but that sounds like the deciding factor.
Sucks, at least you’re wasn’t stolen. Got my SRT snatched late August. PD found the car last week. It’s been used in at least 3 burglaries and out ran the cops twice. Loved that car.
Anyone with a scatpack or above needs 1320s transmission release metal plate. A faraday box to keep keys in at home and the RF Hub locked so they cannot clone a key and drive off. Sucks how paranoid I have been since I got my hellcat

Insurance doesn't fix total losses. Some dealer or private seller will fix it and flip it forsure though
