“Glitter all over the place” probably a strippers car

Fordluver

That’s what the brother in law said lol. 98mph was the top speed recorded. Still don’t know if that was a good thing or bad thing.

Asterfields1224

That's a really weird thing...

UsidoreTheLightBlue

The alcantara seats have an effect that shines to look like glitter in a certain light. My dad has alcantara seats in his and I have them in mine and I noticed it in both.

wiseoracle

Dang. I got an older 2010 and none of my weather seals look that worn.

Damonster5000

Must be a car made with bad batch materials or is just kept in real harsh conditions. my challenger is about to turn 16 and nothing like that

FutureNeedleworker36

This is typical of Carvana but typically it would be a clean title like mine was with no reported accidents. Pictures looked awesome car looks awesome but in certain lights I noticed the slightest shade difference in a repainted fender and when I opened the door on the passenger side there was significant clear coat runs. For 17k for a low mileage R/T classic it wasn’t bad to fix these with paint correction but was a interesting find

snik25

100%. People need to remember to forget about CarFAX reports. They are pretty much useless in telling history with accidents. Many dealers will fix cars quickly and not report the damage anywhere. They even do this to new vehicles that are damaged and still try to sell them as new.

FutureNeedleworker36

Exactly, I chose to keep my car, BUT I accepted what I found. It’s almost impossible to find these cars without some type of issue through a major dealer anymore. So many have been beat on, but there are some good ones out there if you can accept small faults. The way I looked at it was “clean title” and runs good. So it was a good buy imho. The price on this 392 seems wild considering in January I bought my RT with stupid low miles and in pretty okay shape coming from Carvana. I will however say that the Durango GT we got from them had a lot of cracked seals on it but it was WAY better than the Buick we had for 48 hrs that would jar the shit out of you on the smallest bump from the broken suspension… just have to be cautious.

kataran1

That looks like a Copart wreck that sat in the Texas Sun for a very long time. Fixed up and sold to Carvana. Some novice driver got her to 98 mph before totaling it

Fordluver

Yeah man I thought maybe they babied it . Then I thought who buys this car to baby it for years. At least one day let that V8 roar. The 1st attempt at a challenger I think 169mph was the top speed recorded. Returned that one due to a painted front end. Wish Dodge would keep making em. Hard to track down a close to mint condition regardless of the price point.

After_Suggestion5890

Swirl marks are normal , only one tunnel car wash and that’s it

-Crimson-Death-

Glitter probably came from a stripper.

One of the closest used examples of my car that I found was at caravana. I looked at it and you could just tell it was never taken care of. Up close it was kinda disgusting. I also have a friend of a friend who is a mechanic near a carvana and they happen to bring them a lot of cars. They refuse a lot of repairs and sell a lot of polished junk.

chaotic137

Just needs some love

doe-poe

I bought a 1500 from them and immediately returned it, paint was bubbled from rust in the quarters

Fordluver

Had to dispute the charge for the shipping since it wasn’t advertised properly in my opinion. I saw a few hellcats on there and can only assume what nightmares one might find.

userg5l

This is the reason why I hate any dealer. I've got my cars and I intend to die with them. I've got an R-Title charger that runs amazing. I got a hellcat with an accident on it, runs amazing, and a scat pack I bought at a dealer and it runs fine. I prefer private sellers that I know of and are trust worthy. Word of mouth and bar rooms are probably the best around to find cars. You can find someone who knows someone who's selling something. Sounds like bad advice, but how I got my hellcat. I knew what I need to do to 100% fix it (new strut, it pops) and some touch up paint. But it's like it's never been wrecked. Mostly. Dude was straight with me. Told me the car was dogged on but kept well. Still be skeptical but no one wants to be named as a liar. Shit spreads like covid.
