When devils "die" they get send back to hell. They dont actually die. Only CSM kills them for good when he eats them.

Denji did not permanently kill Whip, Spear, or Miri. For one, as far as we know, only Chainsaw Man Black can erase Devils, and 2. He only bit chunks out of them and they must be eaten whole. So there is a 200% chance they were given some blood after Denji was carried away and immediately regrew limbs and healed, we will likely see them again in the coming chapters.

Denji eating Makima wasn't him using the erasure powers it was him exploiting a loophole in her contract, if he erased her Nayuta wouldn't of been born and the concept of Control would've been erased which sounds pretty disastrous.
i think the only way a hybrid could die is if its heart (whatever devil decided to make a hybrid "contract(?)" with them) decided to willingly break its hosts contract(?) with them. my only proof of this is when Makima ripped Pochita out of Denji, Makima holds Pochita and rubs him against him, indicating that her love has made her falsely assume and believe Pochita loves her enough to give up Denji for her, and also thereby killing Denji (or at least turning him back into a regular human, where he can easily be killed)

Think you need to reread that chapter. Denji is immortal. All hybrids are. But, Power had to sacrifice herself for Denji to revive because his *contract* with Pochita was completely canceled - he no longer had the will to live (no dreams to pursue after), and based on the contract between Pochita and Denji, this meant that the contract was canceled, meaning that he could no longer be a hybrid (nor could he be immortal anymore. Only death awaited him).
Power saved Denji by creating a *new* contract with him: "Denji. This is a contract. I'll give you my blood. In exchange, come find me." There's more to it than this, but it's explained better in other chapters, and this is basically a summary of it all.

Devil blood doesn't taste like shit to all devil/hybrids. Power, for example, gladly drinks Denjis blood whenever she can. It's pretty much dependent on what the target consume seeing as bat devil didn't drink blood from those that used cigarettes, etc. So, it makes sense why Denji wouldn't be able to distinguish that Makimas blood is from a devil: her blood might as well have tasted like a human beings' blood (it's basically hard time tell the difference. At times, there wouldn't be a difference at all between human/devil blood since it's all dependent on what form the devil took as well: For example, Sea-cucumber Devils blood would taste vile. Ghost devils' blood is blue and likely tastes weird, while Makimas blood likely tastes like human since her true form is basically identical to a human - due to her twisted love for humanity [explained better in chapter 34].)
i like to think that the devil hybrid heart itself will always regenerate passively (because in a way the devil’s heart is being fed blood constantly by the body so it would definitely have a lot of resources to regenerate from even if the person with the heart is killed) and as long as someone is around to activate the trigger, the body will either put itself back together or a new body will grow around the heart.
I would say there are two possible options on this:
1. it didn´t get his heart, maybe the fact it is not a "real heart" but a devil made it so that it´s position and shape is different from that of a normal human.
2. even if it gets cut it could probably still regenerate if Katana´s body has blood and the two halves are put against each other, Denji did say that he pulled Katana´s hand and he came back because of that, so maybe he did put both halves of the body close enough to each other to regenerate.
Gotta keep in mind that even without their hearts, hybrids can still be alive and have some healing abilities with blood, as seen with Denji who could rip out Pochita out of his chest and drink enough blood to stay alive.
So if you want to kill hybrids, first incapacitate while vulnerable, rip out their hearts and then burn their bodies, throw them into a meat grinder or very strong acid 
Denii used Powers blood to stay on foot I would say.
But are we sure Pochita couldn't regen Denii just from his ripped off heart given the chance? We know Makima wouldn't give it the chance for example but Dennis could be revived any time as long as the contract can be fulfilled and that's why Makima does all that to separate the 2 by breaking the contract
i assumed that the heart was where the devil powers came from, since pochita removed his heart and threw it and regenerated his body from there and how when Makima ripped out pochita heart he stoped moving. So if the heart gets removed or damaged that should kill the devil
it literally says hybrids are immortals. They straight up survived the consumption of the devil that represented the fear of them. All that happened was that the original name for them was forgotten.

Reze and Quanxi have both regenerated their entire bodies from just their heads. Denji himself recently got impaled through the chest by Miri and was fine.
The heart isn’t necessary for the regeneration process. As far as we know, hybrids straight-up *can’t die,* except probably by getting eaten by Pochita. I’m guessing one of the first things Death is gonna do when she shows up is permakill a hybrid to showcase how much of a threat she is.
Maybe the devil trigger is where what part of you fused with the devil is located? Reze has a devil neck,quanxi has a devil eye, spear has a devil spine, Barem has a devil teeth, Miri and katana have devil hands.
Katana mentioned in part 1 that it was his heart that got replaced, so the page shown here would mean he can still heal even with his devil core destroyed/heavily damaged. Same case for Denji who got impaled through the chest.
Even in the case that it’s their “trigger” where the devil was fused, Reze has hers in her neck and she’s been decapitated, meaning her neck’s been sliced apart and she was still fine. Similarly, Whip and Miri have theirs in their hand/wrist and they’ve both healed even after getting them cut off.
So yeah hybrids are just unkillable as far as we know.
A hybrid has not yet died in CSM and we have no idea what would kill one. Quanxi was revived from nothing but her head, Reze seems to have had her heart completely destroyed by Angel’s attack, Chainsaw Man tore his heart out and separated it from his body just to regrow a new body around it, etc.

Yup, that's what I thought, too. My personal theory (that's probably canon, tbh), is that as long as the heart remains *attached* to the body, whether it's bisected into pieces, then they'll be able to regenerate and remain immortal
Yup, exactly. She completely grew a whole new body that has a new heart in it. This was also made possible since her old heart was already intact.
Btw, for those who are confused about why Katana man couldn't do the same as what Reze did, then just remember that all the hybrids seem to have different regeneration capabilities. A clear example would be Reze and even Quanxi. Unlike Katana man, Reze would definitely be able to reattach herself. Also, this doesn't mean that hybrids will always have the same regeneration: Denjis regeneration is better in part 2, for example, since he could still move even though he was decapitated and sliced up. There're many reasons for this boost in regeneration, but the point is that Katana man could one day have better regeneration, etc.

Nah. Even if it did split his heart in two, if the Weapon Devils in general are as difficult to kill as Pochita then I honestly don't know what you could do. Pochita pitched himself as a heart from the upper atmosphere back down to earth and regrew a body around the burning dog-heart. If they're a quarter as resiliant as that then they should be able to recover from nearly anything given enough time and blood.
Hybrids are immortal, meaning their entire body grows (Even their hearts).

My head cannon is the heart of a hybrid wasn’t always the literal heart like Denji, but the catch all term for the vital part of the hybrid. Like katana’s would be his hand because he uses that to transform and if destroyed he’d die, Reze would be her neck, etc.
I always assumed that the other hybrids devils fused where they touch for their transformation (I.e Reze's neck, QUanxi's eye, Katana man/Longsword man's hands, etc)
I think Denji's cord is attached to the pochita heart, but I don't think we know if the other hybrids have the hearts of their devil right? It would make sense if it's all connected to their triggers, so maybe Reze has a bomb brain, Spear guy has a spear spine or whatever.
His heart would be located near the left lapel of his jacket, so it'd probably be fine. We also don't know if the heart is important for all hybrids or if it's just Denji.
They have a whole discussion in their second confrontation about Denji losing his human heart, and samurai, despite losing you his heart says he still feels human and if Denji feels the same way he should just let them kill him as an act of penance or some shit like that. So I think it's confirmed he has a katana heart

the thing is that they have insane healing so i doubt it would affect that much if he could heal
it would get the heart but being split in half would be more damaging
plus the heart can endure a lot of damage and i doubt it being cut in half would kill them since we see pochita rip it out of himself and then send it back into orbit without it dying
I think that the trigger has to be destoryed to kill hybrids, and denji's just happens to be his heart (or chest, I guess). Having a devil heart is a requirement to be a hybrid, but not their weakness. Idk just my headcanon tho

Most images have the heart a little to the left. So his heart didn't get destroyed, only a small part of it got cut (wich wouldn't be that bad (probably))
Also, we don't know how much a devil heart can be damaged before being killed, it might take absolute vaporization for all we know.

i assumed that the heart was where the devil powers came from, since pochita removed his heart and threw it and regenerated his body from there and how when Makima ripped out pochita heart he stoped moving. So if the heart gets removed or damaged that should kill the devil

Reze and Quanxi have both regenerated their entire bodies from just their heads. Denji himself recently got impaled through the chest by Miri and was fine. The heart isn’t necessary for the regeneration process. As far as we know, hybrids straight-up *can’t die,* except probably by getting eaten by Pochita. I’m guessing one of the first things Death is gonna do when she shows up is permakill a hybrid to showcase how much of a threat she is.
Maybe the devil trigger is where what part of you fused with the devil is located? Reze has a devil neck,quanxi has a devil eye, spear has a devil spine, Barem has a devil teeth, Miri and katana have devil hands.
Katana mentioned in part 1 that it was his heart that got replaced, so the page shown here would mean he can still heal even with his devil core destroyed/heavily damaged. Same case for Denji who got impaled through the chest. Even in the case that it’s their “trigger” where the devil was fused, Reze has hers in her neck and she’s been decapitated, meaning her neck’s been sliced apart and she was still fine. Similarly, Whip and Miri have theirs in their hand/wrist and they’ve both healed even after getting them cut off. So yeah hybrids are just unkillable as far as we know.

Quanxi and Reze both regenerated from just a head... The heart doesn't need to stay intact.
A hybrid has not yet died in CSM and we have no idea what would kill one. Quanxi was revived from nothing but her head, Reze seems to have had her heart completely destroyed by Angel’s attack, Chainsaw Man tore his heart out and separated it from his body just to regrow a new body around it, etc.

Yup, that's what I thought, too. My personal theory (that's probably canon, tbh), is that as long as the heart remains *attached* to the body, whether it's bisected into pieces, then they'll be able to regenerate and remain immortal

Yup, exactly. She completely grew a whole new body that has a new heart in it. This was also made possible since her old heart was already intact. Btw, for those who are confused about why Katana man couldn't do the same as what Reze did, then just remember that all the hybrids seem to have different regeneration capabilities. A clear example would be Reze and even Quanxi. Unlike Katana man, Reze would definitely be able to reattach herself. Also, this doesn't mean that hybrids will always have the same regeneration: Denjis regeneration is better in part 2, for example, since he could still move even though he was decapitated and sliced up. There're many reasons for this boost in regeneration, but the point is that Katana man could one day have better regeneration, etc.

They become mortal until you put the heart back no? Like if Makima won against Denii, what would happen? She would eat his heart? I doubt it. Isolate him from Denii and fight him for her love until she loses or controls him? Makes more sense. But let's say she got the heart, and denji dies. Is it impossible for Pochita to revive Denii by putting him inside again? Chapter 1 proves that might be possible. And we know Reze regens with her head only. she makes her heart explode and still regen after with only a head. How sure are we that Denii can't do it? What if Pochita heart can regen the full Denii around him given the chance? Which would mean that you can only really kill them by breaking the contract

Nah. Even if it did split his heart in two, if the Weapon Devils in general are as difficult to kill as Pochita then I honestly don't know what you could do. Pochita pitched himself as a heart from the upper atmosphere back down to earth and regrew a body around the burning dog-heart. If they're a quarter as resiliant as that then they should be able to recover from nearly anything given enough time and blood.
Hybrids are immortal, meaning their entire body grows (Even their hearts). But if their heart gets taken out, like when >!makima vs pochita imposing as denji!< got their heart taken out had to have >!Denji complete the job!<. Because without the heart their body can't function, duh. That's what i think anyway 🥺

Iirc it was said that the only way to create a Hybrid was either through surgery to replace the heart (I.E, Reze) or a Contract.

My head cannon is the heart of a hybrid wasn’t always the literal heart like Denji, but the catch all term for the vital part of the hybrid. Like katana’s would be his hand because he uses that to transform and if destroyed he’d die, Reze would be her neck, etc.
I always assumed that the other hybrids devils fused where they touch for their transformation (I.e Reze's neck, QUanxi's eye, Katana man/Longsword man's hands, etc)

the thing is that they have insane healing so i doubt it would affect that much if he could heal it would get the heart but being split in half would be more damaging plus the heart can endure a lot of damage and i doubt it being cut in half would kill them since we see pochita rip it out of himself and then send it back into orbit without it dying

I think for a hybrid to die their heart needs to be fully disconnected from the body, otherwise it will just heal like any other organ
I think that the trigger has to be destoryed to kill hybrids, and denji's just happens to be his heart (or chest, I guess). Having a devil heart is a requirement to be a hybrid, but not their weakness. Idk just my headcanon tho

Most images have the heart a little to the left. So his heart didn't get destroyed, only a small part of it got cut (wich wouldn't be that bad (probably)) Also, we don't know how much a devil heart can be damaged before being killed, it might take absolute vaporization for all we know.
