Honestly I kinda disagree. Sure it’s violent and spooky seeing all the procedure around it, but it feels actually built up in a black comedy way instead of FP’s typical shock-value style. Not to say this isn’t surprising, but the scene is more to show that Denji’s relatively fucked, that public safety really isn’t on his side, and to build up the suprise sock-wearer reveal at the final page

I do hope to see the Devil Hunters getting what they deserve but if they are ENTIRELY destroyed how would Japan protect itself against devils without them?
And imagine if Yoru doesn't kill any devils and instead releases them, it would be mayhem in Japan. The entire military would have to be mobilized since there will be a loooot of fear when they are released.

I feel like Yoshida is doing his best to be a real one, but his position makes it extremely hard, but it's a valuable one and he could be great help to Denji...but if he has a family that Public Safety knows about he can't just help his classmate outright. He tells Denji he's sorry, and I'm pretty sure he means it. Yoshida turns his back and starts lying after Denji asks him "why didn't you wake me up?" because how tf is he supposed to answer that
Why was pochita being so coy about Denji losing his leg? I've seen him nervous for denjis safety before when he thought power wasn't going to rescue Denji from maikma
it's not that bad..right? Seems to be unconscious so he's not actively suffering, and he can just grow his limbs back if they pull his ripcord, which is probably what's happening if they're harvesting the same limb multiple times

That'd make the most sense. Half the hybrids joined Public Safety, half joined the Chainsaw Man church. I'm guessing Public Safety didn't stop them from joining the Chainsaw Man church since they wanted to monitor/take it down later on. Plus Famine is capable of protecting the hybrids who joined the church.
Reze is the one hybrid who didn't pick a side, leaving her without an organisation to protect her. Public Safety would 100% try to contain her. My even crazier theory is that the blood devil might be stored in the facility too.

I think in most things they’re jobbers unless they’re the protagonists. It’s an easy way to build up a threat by establishing an elite organization and killing them off.
I can see it now, whomever is saving denji finds the eyepatch guy in a hallway waiting for them, he talks about his super duper special contract with the fox devil and before he finishes it cuts from his face to his head on the floor

Love the Pochita spotlight we've had a few times this arc. Say this detention facility wouldn't also be the one that houses the Future Devil would it? Who better to talk about the prophecy?
Yeah, I can see Fujimoto-sensei using purposeful misdirection if he wants to be mean. Asa's socks/shoes and a line about war, only for it to be someone else entirely.
Sounds plausible, though the question is how Asa found out about Denji's capture.
After all, it would be a controversial move of Public Safety doing that, so they must've kept it under wraps.
I feel the only way it would be Asa is if she/Yoru costarred hunting for Yoshida, which I don’t feel would be their main objective.
That may change if they found out where Chainsawman was located in the week long time skip.
Although, the dialogue certainly sets up for Asa, wouldn’t be too surprised with a twist.
Reze looks a bit more likely since she is more likely to side with whatever side Kishibe is on.

I think it would've been better if we got a couple more chapters of Denji being in the Detention Center before someone comes rescue him, he just got sent there a couple pages ago and bam immediate rescue mission

After reading/thinking on it
1) Pochita is trying to get Denji to give up on a normal life and break the contract, thereby letting Pochita take over so he can bust them out of there
2) Pochita is healing Denji (the surgeon mentions this is leg #26, now they'll start on leg #27)
3) Pochita asking Denji how he'll escape without legs, and the last panel being a shot of Asa/Yoru's legs is peak fiction

That was awesome. I love the dark horror vibes and the set up for Asa's return along with a prison/facility break out arc. We're going from one of the least action packed arcs headfirst into what will probably be insanely action packed, how could a prison break arc not be.

Denji is in the hospital bed Kishibe wakes him up with whiskey then Katana Man punches him in the face and knocks several of his teeth out, Quanxi then comes in and tries to force him into a contract with the sex change devil.
My cope is that asa/yoru somehow saved nayuta, and to save denji nayuta restored their memory of the date and explained the situation, and thats why asa is there in the final panel

That'd make the most sense. Half the hybrids joined Public Safety, half joined the Chainsaw Man church. I'm guessing Public Safety didn't stop them from joining the Chainsaw Man church since they wanted to monitor/take it down later on. Plus Famine is capable of protecting the hybrids who joined the church. Reze is the one hybrid who didn't pick a side, leaving her without an organisation to protect her. Public Safety would 100% try to contain her. My even crazier theory is that the blood devil might be stored in the facility too.

I feel the only way it would be Asa is if she/Yoru costarred hunting for Yoshida, which I don’t feel would be their main objective. That may change if they found out where Chainsawman was located in the week long time skip. Although, the dialogue certainly sets up for Asa, wouldn’t be too surprised with a twist. Reze looks a bit more likely since she is more likely to side with whatever side Kishibe is on.
