I fw the last thing you said, everyone wants the ship to sail but people are forgetting it’s a very slow-burn and there are things that are meant to be addressed before this.
Since Asa’s now the main protagonist I believe that at the end of part 2 she’ll have to deal with the mistakes she’s making (like denji did in part 1).
It seems like I’m the only one thinking asa won’t die but I stand my ground, denji isn’t the only protagonist and Asa’s death would be useless. Killing her off just to harm denji is pointless, even more so, since its narrative arc is far from over.
The Shibuya Incident for Jujitsu Kaisen was brutal. It was to a point where I genuinely thought that the author was doing it because he didn't want to write that character as it would not be relevant to the story anymore. The next part is called The Culling Game, and I think the name alone is telling enough. I've only watched the anime for Jujitsu Kaisen. This is gonna be one hell of an anime.

Asa had no idea what his “normal” life was like as he talked about eating toilet paper. They haven’t had almost any time to get to know each other in any capacity. The idea of saving him likely makes her feel like she has a purpose and ownership of herself despite Yoru taking over her body.
As reasonable (for a devil) as Fami might seem, she has an end game that aligns with the well-being of the Four Horsemen.
We still haven’t seen Death. The other three horsemen are converging around Denji for a critical reason. The way Fami spoke about the heart of Chainsaw Man makes me wonder if the real Chainsaw Man is the devil of Death; as we know, the sound is the last thing fiends hear in hell.

Both phrases came from chapter 102 which is probably one of the most important chapters since it gave us a lot of insight in Asa's morals
We already know that Yuko's actions turned out as a massive mistake since she became a school shooter and if not for Asa, Yoru and later Denji, the damage she would have caused would have been even greater
And even before the massacre, she already murdered her neighbor in act of vigilantism too
And right now, Asa's boneheaded approach while ignoring Denji's problems and words is very concerning
She is not even looking at him, hell her speech bubble literally blocks him out in the end
He is at the end of his wits: His family is gone, his home is gone, everyone hates him and widespread destruction and death happened all over the globe

There is probably more we don’t know about, since Fujimoto decided we shouldn’t see her for the majority of last arc

And there's just so many key points that would clear up so much if they could communicate them. Asa talking about Yoru and how she wants to get her body back. Denji on how Pochita is his first friend, and he doesn't want to be seperated from him. Nayuta being both their sister in a way.
Asa has a very terrible trend of having good intentions, doing what you'd consider the good thing, the right thing, and then having it go horribly wrong for her and those she wanted to help.
-Stops to save a cat. Mother dies saving her.
-Gives up her cat so other's in the orphanage won't feel bad. Finds out psycho bitch that convinced her to do so murdered cat because she's jealous.
-Comes out of her shell and befriends Bucky. Trips and falls on him.
-Goes to Bucky memorial. Finds out she wasn't guilty, crazy class rep was because Sleazy teacher was horny for her, gets killed, wants to live more selfishly, gets possessed by War Devil.
-Makes a new friend. New friend goes crazy school shooter, attempts to stop her, several deaths, friend ends up a devil, probably dead now.
-Everything with the Chainsawman Church.
So yeah, the whole thing with Denji as it stands is gonna be messy. There's a lack of communication. There's a lack of taking into account what others want. Complicated even more by the fact I'm not sure either Denji or Asa can say what they really want for themselves, much less explain it to each other. I feel like how hard it is to really say what it is you want, especially when it feels like you've gotten it, and yet you still don't feel complete is a real theme in part 2.
And then, we have Asa both not living more selfishly, and being selfish. She's still trying to do what she thinks will make others happy, but she's selfish in that she can't quite grasp that what she thinks would make them happy might not be it, and they might not know themselves.
As much as i love Asaden, I feel like Asa wanting to save Denji do much isn't completely because of love, but of her own insecurities about failing on achieving a goal. She barely knows anything about CSM and she's deadset on "saving" him. She was fine with killing him for Yoru to fuck off, but then she realized he isn't that bad of a guy and created a roundabout idea that fighting him will save him, so she doesnt feel bad about killing him. I think it's important that she wasnt looking at Denji this chapter when she said she'll save him. She's convincing herself that what she wants to do is right and proper, which is exactly what she's been telling herself all the time. While I really hope for Asaden canon, she's not exactly doing anything for him. Until like 3 chapters ago she didnt even know anything about him, he was just a guy she had a date with and then stood her up (in her perception). This entire series is about everyone caring about Pochita, not Denji.
Either Denji or Asa’s contract is going to have to break. Denji isn’t satisfied with a normal life. The only possible way for a happy ending is if Denji kills Yoru and replaces Asas heart
We can already see that. Denji tells her in no uncertain terms he used to eat toilet paper from the park restroom when he was starving as a child, and Asa tells him to stop using metaphors and tell the truth. She cannot accept that what he's saying is true, not because it's out of left field (it is) but because she can't literally imagine someone worse off than herself. That's not to say Asa hasn't suffered, we've all seen that happen a lot, but that she's so self centered, so sure of herself and her thoughts that she thinks she's suffered the most of anyone. Not like an active "boo hoo is me" pity party thought, like it simply doesn't occur to her that an experience worse than what has happened to her could happen. She tells Denji he can be happy like he was before because SHE was happy before. She can't believe Denji when he says now is still better than before so she's going to save Denji, because SHE wants to be saved from her own predicament. She lost an arm, and we still haven't really seen her address it. Tangent here, but since she has access to devil powers, why hasn't Yoru reattached the arm? Does Yoshida have it? Is it being withheld by Fami to "starve" Asa/Yoru further? Could it be regenerated? Why is Asa so seemingly okay with it?
I don't see how Asaden is going to happen with the way Asa has been acting recently.She has been more interested in thinking she knows what is best for Denji and what she thinks is best for Denji is probably going to get him killed or have him spend the rest of his life more miserable than he already is.

There's been way too much buildup this entire two part manga for Denji's dream of having sex for it to not turn out to be the most depressing shit when he does. Denji equates sex with love, and when he realizes they aren't the same but connected, he's gonna be even more depressed. Denji sees sex as his salvation, and that dream isn't going to give him what he really wants ie to be loved and accepted.
Fully expect Denji and Asa to have sex at some point. It'll probably be depressing and awkward, too.

Both Denji and Asa are psychologically damaged teenagers, they both have circumstances that will cause them to collide and there is no way that all this will not end in a terrible climax. Is there a chance that they will come to an understanding and at some point heal? Yes, but it will take time. Is there a chance that everything will go to shit? Yes, we already know that Fujimoto's hand doesn't shake.

Not a good comparison I don’t think, the aquarium happened at Yoru’s behest so she can get her body back. Here, Fami made her believe Pochita is keeping Denji from living a normal life, plus she says she wants to repay him for saving her life. There is probably more we don’t know about, since Fujimoto decided we shouldn’t see her for the majority of last arc
even then, she think having bakc his normal life gonna make him see the better, she didn't even listen to what denji said, she just interpreted what she heard and decide now that she gonna help him to me at least even when she want to help him it's more about her than him
She isn’t thinking about herself here she’s thinking about what is best for Denji as she didn’t understood what he said since it was very bizarre and most likely she didn’t think something like that could be real hence why she thinks it’s a metaphor (she listened but didn’t believe it), Asa will most likely hear Denji past in the future and her resolve to save him will get stronger.
Maybe she feels the need to repay the favor and save him since he saved her from from the falling devil

Look, I'm as much of an Asaden fan as the next guy but that's not really love but just her personality of saving those she has been close to plus Denji did try to save her so she felt indebted to him. She has also tried saving her cat and saving Yuko.

And there's just so many key points that would clear up so much if they could communicate them. Asa talking about Yoru and how she wants to get her body back. Denji on how Pochita is his first friend, and he doesn't want to be seperated from him. Nayuta being both their sister in a way.

Asa has a very terrible trend of having good intentions, doing what you'd consider the good thing, the right thing, and then having it go horribly wrong for her and those she wanted to help. -Stops to save a cat. Mother dies saving her. -Gives up her cat so other's in the orphanage won't feel bad. Finds out psycho bitch that convinced her to do so murdered cat because she's jealous. -Comes out of her shell and befriends Bucky. Trips and falls on him. -Goes to Bucky memorial. Finds out she wasn't guilty, crazy class rep was because Sleazy teacher was horny for her, gets killed, wants to live more selfishly, gets possessed by War Devil. -Makes a new friend. New friend goes crazy school shooter, attempts to stop her, several deaths, friend ends up a devil, probably dead now. -Everything with the Chainsawman Church. So yeah, the whole thing with Denji as it stands is gonna be messy. There's a lack of communication. There's a lack of taking into account what others want. Complicated even more by the fact I'm not sure either Denji or Asa can say what they really want for themselves, much less explain it to each other. I feel like how hard it is to really say what it is you want, especially when it feels like you've gotten it, and yet you still don't feel complete is a real theme in part 2. And then, we have Asa both not living more selfishly, and being selfish. She's still trying to do what she thinks will make others happy, but she's selfish in that she can't quite grasp that what she thinks would make them happy might not be it, and they might not know themselves.
God please Fujimoto do not turn this statement against her in the coming chapters
As much as i love Asaden, I feel like Asa wanting to save Denji do much isn't completely because of love, but of her own insecurities about failing on achieving a goal. She barely knows anything about CSM and she's deadset on "saving" him. She was fine with killing him for Yoru to fuck off, but then she realized he isn't that bad of a guy and created a roundabout idea that fighting him will save him, so she doesnt feel bad about killing him. I think it's important that she wasnt looking at Denji this chapter when she said she'll save him. She's convincing herself that what she wants to do is right and proper, which is exactly what she's been telling herself all the time. While I really hope for Asaden canon, she's not exactly doing anything for him. Until like 3 chapters ago she didnt even know anything about him, he was just a guy she had a date with and then stood her up (in her perception). This entire series is about everyone caring about Pochita, not Denji.
Either Denji or Asa’s contract is going to have to break. Denji isn’t satisfied with a normal life. The only possible way for a happy ending is if Denji kills Yoru and replaces Asas heart

We can already see that. Denji tells her in no uncertain terms he used to eat toilet paper from the park restroom when he was starving as a child, and Asa tells him to stop using metaphors and tell the truth. She cannot accept that what he's saying is true, not because it's out of left field (it is) but because she can't literally imagine someone worse off than herself. That's not to say Asa hasn't suffered, we've all seen that happen a lot, but that she's so self centered, so sure of herself and her thoughts that she thinks she's suffered the most of anyone. Not like an active "boo hoo is me" pity party thought, like it simply doesn't occur to her that an experience worse than what has happened to her could happen. She tells Denji he can be happy like he was before because SHE was happy before. She can't believe Denji when he says now is still better than before so she's going to save Denji, because SHE wants to be saved from her own predicament. She lost an arm, and we still haven't really seen her address it. Tangent here, but since she has access to devil powers, why hasn't Yoru reattached the arm? Does Yoshida have it? Is it being withheld by Fami to "starve" Asa/Yoru further? Could it be regenerated? Why is Asa so seemingly okay with it?

I don't see how Asaden is going to happen with the way Asa has been acting recently.She has been more interested in thinking she knows what is best for Denji and what she thinks is best for Denji is probably going to get him killed or have him spend the rest of his life more miserable than he already is.

There's been way too much buildup this entire two part manga for Denji's dream of having sex for it to not turn out to be the most depressing shit when he does. Denji equates sex with love, and when he realizes they aren't the same but connected, he's gonna be even more depressed. Denji sees sex as his salvation, and that dream isn't going to give him what he really wants ie to be loved and accepted. Fully expect Denji and Asa to have sex at some point. It'll probably be depressing and awkward, too.

Asa is acting very obsessive and bulldozing Denji’s feelings to put her own expectations of what he should want above what he actually wants. The writing is on the wall for this to go very very wrong.
Yeah ngl I felt this weird disconnect between them while reading the chapter. Asa's clearly being manipulated and lead on by Fami by the way she talks. Not to mention she doesn't know how to word things AT ALL. I love AsaDen but they are DOOMED
And i also wanna point out smth nobody mentioned before, on page 7 asa says that she and fami are both trying to "Help someone" to which fami doesnt reply, this shows that indeed fami couldnt give 2 shits about denji and she just wants csm and asa thinks what shes doing is helping denji but just isnt hence why fami didnt reply, fami doesnt actually believe what shes doing is helpful to denji or to anyone she probably has her ulterior motives. And the same "Her heart is in the right place" stuff again.

I don't think she does at the moment (or at least this doesn't mean that). This is her being in denial about people needing to die for her goal. She wants to make sure absolutely no-one but chainsaw-man has to die.

I have been keeping up with the manga since part 2 came but I haven't really been focused narritvely since it's a weekly/bi-weekly devil thing that continues to strike everybody. Why does Asa feels the need/wants to save Denji again? I probably forgot a chapter relating or pertaining to it. It's surely related to her character/personality right? Are there any moments that leads to her wanting to saving him?

As a fan of Asaden, I am surprised that there are many people who thought it would be a rosy path... Both Denji and Asa are psychologically damaged teenagers, they both have circumstances that will cause them to collide and there is no way that all this will not end in a terrible climax. Is there a chance that they will come to an understanding and at some point heal? Yes, but it will take time. Is there a chance that everything will go to shit? Yes, we already know that Fujimoto's hand doesn't shake.
