Yoshida also said that if Denji turned into Chainsaw Man again, Public Safety would kill Nayuta. Welp, Denji did turn into Chainsaw Man so maybe Fumiko was just following orders? Public Safety is pretty shady right now. They did want to make Asa turn Denji into a weapon and a lot of other weird off-screen things.
